Chapter 9 - Killing Spree

Ellah's POV

I was in the kitchen when there was a groaning and vomiting sound I heard. I went to the living room when I saw everybody was standing up with stunned faces. Jane and Chenley went down and said they heard it too. We look at each other and nodded. No need to say a word, we all knew who was that, nobody would make any of that sound except zombies.

Mika's team got to the rooftop to kill them while we packed all of our needs in our bags. The boys carried the guns and bullets inside the limo while the other girls prepared all of the foods that we needed. We now heard gunshots from the rooftop, falling empty bullets. Few minutes later, Ryzza went down looking for James.

"James!" She yelled very loudly.

James ran quickly to face Ryzza. I was so confused and worried because when I was looking at her face, something isn't right.

"What?" James asked.

"Where are the explosions?"

"In the limo. Why? Is something wrong?"

"There's hundreds of them outside."

"What?!" I yelled. Hundreds? How is that even possible? We were staying in here for two days and not even one showed up and now, there's hundreds of them now?

"You heard me," She said looking at me, "now, James get those and bring your team in the rooftop." She said and went back upstairs.

I've finished packing my bags, James and his team was running towards the stairs when I grabbed Kim's arm and ask if I could join them.

"Okay, come on."

As we opened the rooftop door, we saw Mika and her team firing their guns at the zombies trying to get close in our house.

"Thank goodness. James, throw the grenades as far as you can okay? And for us, when they throw, cover up here in the parapet wall." Mika said.

"Okay, let's go." James said. He distributed one bag to Kim, to Krish, to Onemig, to Ryan, and to me. He threw the first grenade and all of us covered up in the parapet wall. The bomb exploded so loudly that everybody downstairs screamed.

"We need Chenley's team, not us. Keep throwing your explosions! We're outta here! We'll send them here in a minute!" Mika yelled, she and her team ran downstairs with their guns and bullets.

We stood up and threw bombs again. In a minute, Chenley and his team opened the door, ran towards us and lined side by side. They fired their assault rifles and the zombies in the front area were knocked down diminishly. We continued throwing bombs and firing at them until they were all down. Their black blood were all over the road, body parts scattered. At last, it's over. We took a deep breaths before we went down.

"Ugh! That deep breath was a bad idea." Kim said, covering her nose with her handkerchief.

"I know. Shit, they really stink!" I said, hastily running downstairs.

We immediately went in the garage when we parked the limo and went inside. All of them were inside so Chenley started the engine and drove off the house. Some of them took a last look of the zombie bodies laying on the road.

"That shit is nasty." Mika said, making a disgusted face.

"And they stink, guys. Like really stink. Damn." Kim added.

"They were so many. How the fuck did that happen?"

"Yeah right? We were there for 2 days and none of them attacked."
