Chapter 5 - Weapons

Rose's POV

After we got our weapons from the warehouse, Chenley drove us to a subdivision lived by the wealthy business men in our city. We really got lucky for having this gold limousine considering we were 41 people in total, we surely fitted inside. I think the person who owned this might be really wealthy for having this limousine extended and costumized its color.

After the fancy ride, we finally arrived at Oro Subdivision. The name of this subdivision was from the Italian translation of Gold since people who lived here are all wealthy people but has a shitty attitudes, to be honest. We went out of the car and was amazed how beautiful and fancy this place is. All of us carried our weapons incase zombies might attack us in a split second. Well, it's better to be prepared than to die early so whatever. Chenley fired his gun on the statue that was located in the pond since he said the noise will draw zombies out of the house and we could kill them easily. And it turned out to be he was right three zombies came out on the peach colored house, four on the big black matte house, and two on the white and gold house.

Our group, the snipers and Steph's group didn't bother to kill them since Chenley and his group already fired like crazy. Their nasty dark blood spilled all over the road and their decomposing body smelled like a month rotten egg with some stinky ass socks that was soked in sweat with twenty basketball players. Ugh gross. After the zombies were killed, we chose which house are we staying in.

"I want the black matte house." I said.

"Yes, me too." Mika said, patting my shoulders.

"I like the white and gold one." Cary said.

"Okay, let's vote. Who wants to stay in the white and gold house?" Jane asked. The others raised their hands while Jeanny were counting.

"Raise your hands properly, morons!" Ellah yelled. Whoops! Here comes our president, such a responsible individual.

"Okay, who's up for the black house?" Jane asked. Jeanny continued counting until she was done.

"We will be staying in...black house."

All of who voted for the black house cheered while the others just rolled their eyes and carried their weapons inside. Chenley was the one who opened the door carrying his Glock 17 on his right hand. He opened it wider and checked if there was any zombie left inside. Gladly, there wasn't so all of us burst inside and stroll around this giant house. We picked our rooms and who'll sleep with. It was so fun to see and to experience living in a big house with all of the things you need and not to worry about how much you will pay in the electricity shits and stuff.

"Chefs! We're hungry!" Ellah yelled. Ana, Ariane, and Mikaela, our chefs, stormed downstairs in the kitchen area to start cooking. The house that we picked have a super big refregerator with tons of foods and sweet inside. We can't eat of them lavishly because we might get ran out. We still had the foods that we stored in our backpacks but our journey isn't over yet, it's just starting so we will need them sooner or later.

Ryzza and I will be sharing a bed and on the other bed was Mika and Cyrel. The bed was so soft and so big especially the room, it was huge. Its like this room is the same size as our house. So stunning and it smelled so fruity. We were enjoying our time caressing our beds when we heard banging downstairs so we checked it out immediately and it turned out it was just Nicka and Bernafe, hammering some black plywoods in the windows.

"What's that for?" Cyrel asked, confused.

"We will draw attention to the zombies if we light this house at night so to cover the light from being seen outside, we are going to cover every windows."
