Emily's POV

It all comes down to this, this night, then this month.

It's like it's crept up on me, jumped out from behind the cupboard and shouted boo in my face.

And now there's nowhere left to run.

I've got my dress hanging on my wardrobe door, hair and make-up artists' on standby for when I'm ready to get made over, people coming up to me asking for last minute decisions and questions.

I'm literally going out of my mind.

Because not only do I have the pressure of England resting on my shoulders, I also have worries about how a certain mystery intriguing guy could completely flip on me when he finds out who I really am.

In case you don't know who I'm talking about, it's Sam.

I was up all night going through it over and over in my head each time him having a different reaction to all of it, safe to say the bad reactions out ruled the good ones.

"Nah, nah, honey, you've ruined yourself here you have," Amy my make-up artist tuts as applies concealer onto the dark circles that are resting under my tired eyes, told you I didn't get any sleep.

"I mean I know you're nervous and all for this thing, but why would you do this to your poor face."

Yeah, I didn't do it on purpose, I want to say but I hold my tongue. No need to anger with the person who has control of what goes on my face.

"So, you nervous sweetheart?" she asks as she smacks on her chewing gum.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." I sigh shakily.

"You'll do fine, I mean the whole countries worth of guys are coming here to London to meet you, and you have choice of anyone of them. I say that you are one lucky b***ch." She laughs. I've always like Amy, she's a sweet girl, one that completely exhales happiness that you can't help but to lash up.

And she's amazing at what she does.

"There you go babes; I've covered up those dark circles as much as I can, I hope you're happy with it," she brushes the last of the make-up over my cheeks then hands me a little hand mirror so I can have a look.

My hair is cascading down my back in loose curls, to ends near my face pulled back into a diamond clip.

My eyes shine with glittered silver, my eyelashes longer than I've ever seen them.

My lips are a bright shade of red, making them look plump and firm.

And my cheeks are brushed with a light pink, making them permanently rosy.

And I love all of it.

Sam's POV

Today's the day, the ball has finally arrived.

I'm now sitting in a fancy barber shop, one guy tutting at the state of my hair and another tutting at the state of my stubble.

"You have no idea how scared my niece is for tonight, my brother said she hasn't slept at all." He sighs shaking his head. Wait niece.
