Chapter 7: A Deal

"Clone Jutsu!" Two clones of Kakashi appeared. "Now, our second lesson is the clone jutsu. Clone jutsu is a..." I tuned Kakashi off as he was rambling on and on about... stuff.

We are now in some training field learning the basic jutsus for the Academy. It's not much though, just trees surrounding us and some targets used for aiming.

Blade and Em looked like they were kids in a candy store listening intently at Kakashi as if he's a god. And Blaze... well, Blaze is being his calm and uncaring self.

I sighed and got lost in my thoughts. I wonder what's going on back home. Is someone looking for us? Moreover, is someone looking for me? Does my family even miss me? I chuckled humorlessly. Yeah... as if they'll miss me. They're just probably celebrating now that I'm gone.

At this thought, tears threatened to fall down. Don't any of my parents love me at all? Why? I haven't done anything wrong...

I sighed and tried to think of positive thoughts.  

Okay. Positive. Positive. But even if I tried to think of positive thoughts, my mind wandered of to him. What was he doing now? I've been in this world for two days now, which means I haven't been attending his meetings. Oh, crap! He'd kill me if he realized that. He'd thought that I was running away again. He'd torture me first, then end me

I shivered.

"... it? Ok, now go!" I heard Kakashi shout.

I snapped out of my thoughts, then looked around. The others were scattered around the small clearing, all looking focused on something.

"Ayame, why aren't you doing anything?" Kakashi asked me.

I looked at him, and blinked. "Uh... sorry, what?"

He sighed. "You weren't listening, weren't you?"

I smiled sheepishly. "Sorry..."

"I said 'Why aren't you doing anything?"

"Do what?" I asked, completely confused.

"Train."

Realization hit me. "Oh, sorry... I... uh... forgot?"

"Ok, well then, go," he ordered, ignoring my lame excuse

I nodded then walked over to Blaze. "Hey Blaze! Uh... What're we supposed to do again?" I whispered.

He sighed. "You know you really have to work on your attentiveness."

"Whoa! Big word alert!" I said as I clutch my head dramatically as if I was in pain.

He rolled his eyes. "You know what I mean."

I grinned. "Yeah, I do."

He shook his head then smiled a little. "We were supposed to train two jutsus: the Clone Justsu and the Transformation Jutsu for the Academy. Right now,"

I nodded. "Uh huh... And how are we supposed to do that?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

He shrugged. "Dunno. All I know was that we were supposed to do some handsigns and bam! Its done."

"Yeah, that's helpful." I raised my eyebrow at him.

"You're welcome." He chuckled. "Naw... He said that first we should channel our chakra, then do this handsigns." He did the handsigns for Transformation Jutsu. "And then transform in to who we want."

I nodded even though I still didn't get how we should channel our chakra. "Oh, okay thanks!" I walked away from him, then went into a secluded place.
