I'm scared to get close, and I hate being alone.
I long for that feeling to not feel at all, the higher I get the lower I'll sink. I can't drown my demons they know how to swim.

When I got home I got out of my work clothes and changed into something comfortable.
I walked over to my nightstand and grabbed the small bag of pills.

I opened the bag and grabbed five pills and placed them inside my mouth. I put the bag away, now containing twenty five pills. I'll worry about getting more later.

I decided to clean up a bit until the pills started to kick in.

I long for that feeling to not feel at all.

After about thirteen minutes I started to feel more jumpy and smiling more.
I finished cleaning my apartment and decided to go take a walk around the park.

I decided to use the stairs instead of the elevator and greeted my neighbor's and wishing them a good day.

When I got to the park I ran to the swings and let out a small giggle and started to swing myself.

"Hello cutie how are you?" I asked stopping my swing and kneeled down to greet the little girl

"Don't get near him Alexa! He's a druggie." the little girl's mom came and pulled on her arm

I shrugged and skipped my way to the big hill and once I was at the very top I decided to lay down and roll all the way down.

"Hey dude, what are you on?" this guy came up to me and raised an eyebrow

the higher I get, the lower I'll sink.

I stood up and steadied myself, "Um, I use ecstasy pills." I said smiling wide

"You have a dealer?" he asked

"Had. He decided to do something with his life." I shrugged and chuckled

"Well if you want I could be your new dealer. What do you say? I won't charge much and I'll give you the best there is." the guy asked smirking

I nodded quickly and shook his hand, "I'm Harry."

"Zayn. I'll give you your first bag free. Quite nice right? Have you tried acid?" he asked sitting down

I sat down next to him, "Uh no, I've heard of it but never tried it."

"You're missing out dude, I'll give you the acid free. I promise you'll love it." Zayn said pulling out a sheet of colorful things

"You'll start seeing things that aren't even there. It's awesome, try it tomorrow though since you're on that ecstasy pill thing. Any other drug you've tried?" he asked handing me the colorful sheet

"I've done heroin and meth."

"I've got the best of the best. Don't ever worry about this Harry, you won't get in trouble if you're associated with me." he said nodding

I nodded and got up to thank him and ran my way home.

I can't drown my demons they know how to swim.

When I got home I examined the colorful sheet, how can these little strips make me forget the world? Make me forget everything?

"I guess I'll just have to wait and see." I said shrugging

I decided to take a nap, this can really tire me at the end of the day. Can't wait to try this new thing called acid.

Can you hear the silence?
Can you see the dark?
Can you fix the broken?
Can you feel my heart?
