As I was sitting outside the hospital room, I heard Ian shout that Anthony was awake. Courtney, Shayne, Keith, Noah, and I all rushed into the room looking at Anthony. He looked confused like he had no idea where he was, but something in his eyes told me he knew exactly where he was. He looked at each of us, as if trying to remember who we were. But then he looked at me and his eyes immediately lit up. He said my name a few times to himself, then blurted it out like I had been dead for ten years and I had just been resurrected by the head priest. This isn't the first time this had happened, in fact, it seems to happen every time he's in the hospital. Last time Ian woke up in the middle of the night to find Anthony sobbing and saying Keith's name over and over. But this...this was different. He said my name as though he wanted me there next to him. Like he was yearning for me to hold him. Ian had his ways of snapping him out of it. It was almost always the slap to the face and the casual, "SNAP OUT OF IT, MAN!" But this time he just stood up and walked out of the room. Everyone else left behind him, leaving me and Anthony alone in the room.
