"You're doing amazing Cassie, just turn to your right a little...ah, perfect!" I say, snapping the last picture. "We're all done here."

"Wonderful as always." Fiona smiles, handing me a cup of coffee. "Why thank you, doll face. It wouldn't have been as wonderful as it was without your style choices, might I say, I loved that skirt you chose." I tell her, complementing her work as a stylist.

"It'd be just a skirt without your photography skills."

"It would, wouldn't it." I hold in my laugh as Fiona pushed me weakly. "Usually I'd say don't get so full of yourself, but then I saw Derek checking you out and I changed my mind." She whispers to me. "Derek Reed, that dumb model?" I widen my eyes before sipping my coffee. "Dumb, really? You don't even know him!" She argues as I pull on my trench coat and begin to button it.

"I'm not looking for anyone, anyways." I say, slinging my bag on to my shoulder. "Hey, if you like him so much, why don't you ask him out?"

She thought on it before shaking her head. "Whatever, be a lonely old dog lady forever. See you tomorrow?"

"Yeah, we've got that animal print shoot, see you then." I nod, slipping through the glass door of the room and walking towards the elevator.

I loved my job at Vogue, it was pretty top notch and I got to do what I loved; photography. It might've not been what I had in mind, which was photographing what nature had to offer, but models wasn't too bad. Plus, working for the fashion industry was better pay and gave me an all paid for apartment in the city. It wasn't the flashiest but who's complaining?

The streets were crowded as usual, especially with people getting out of work, and I really enjoy the buzz.

"Esme?" I heard a man call.

My head shot up and I look around me, but didn't catch a familiar face so I went back to my phone. There were many Esme's in the world, and many in the city. I blame Twilight.

"Esme!" A man says once again.

Wow, this Esme is being really rude to whoever he is.

"Esme, it's me! It's Niall!"

My heart stops and feels like it fell to my stomach. Niall? But how? I realized I wasn't moving as people pushed passed me to get to there destination, and I hand fell on my shoulder. Turning around cautiously, I take everything in. He had gotten taller, maybe two inches or four. His hair was mostly brown now and he had almost a 5 o'clock shadow covering his face.

"Hey." He smiles a bright smile, sighing in relief of catching up to me. "Hi." I smile back as memories flooded back. The one thing my subconscious repeated was, 'you hurt him' and guilt over came me.

"How are you?" He asks after some awkward silence. "I'm good, just got off work." I swallow hard to hold back any apologizes. "Oh? Where's that?" He asks again.

"Uh, Vogue, I do photography. What uh, what have you been up to?" I say.

"I'm actually working with Kali Records, where Zayn's at. I'm one of the lawyers there. Ironic, huh?"

"You work with Zayn?"

"Yeah, I'm surprised you didn't know? But I'm sure you're aware of the wedding...?" He questions. "Oh yes, I'm the maid of honor. So you and Zayn are still close?" I continue to ask.

"I'd like to think so seeing I'm one of the grooms men. Did you not know that either?" He looks at me with a confused look, the same one I was giving him. "Oh, I knew, I just...yeah. That's great! About your work and all, you had quite a experience with lawyers." I joke with a small laugh.
