My eyes shot open as I tried to sit up on my elbows, and there he was, his tall built frame towering above me as his black eyes looked down upon me. His wings were out wide, black, torn, deadly

"Why?" I breathed

"You're in the way of everything, I am so sick of hearing about you and as soon as I am done with you, your Vamp buddies are next" He spat, his eyes full of rage.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it wasn't Clu, this wasn't him, it was like he was possessed, taken over by a sinister dark entity

I began to slowly crawl backwards even though I knew it was inevitable.
I was going to die no matter how much I fought it.

"What are you getting out of this Clu?" I asked, trying to buy myself some time, psychically I was never going to be able to stop him, but I had to try something else, another tactic

His eyes seemed to twitch as he stopped mid-stride

"Satisfaction. You and your tragic Vampire friends need to be wiped from the earth, they are ruthless beasts" He shouted, glaring down at me

"And what does that make you once you've killed me and the others?" I confronted, confused

His head lifted slightly, proud "A hero, the Queen is too soft to save our kind, if this isn't done, our existence will be wiped clean, along with your own"

"Your mission is to stop war, yet you create it, you have the hide to call others traitors, look at yourself!" I spat, feeling all emotion of sadness fall away

If I was going to die, I was going to go down swinging.

"In the end, we are all traitors, but I am doing what needs to be done, for Alex's brother" He growled taking another step towards me

"What does that have to do with you?!" I spat again, furious

"He was my brother too!" Clu shouted bending his spine to bring his face closer to mine

My mouth slightly hung open, my eyes panicking. I shook my head slowly, unable to process the whole thing

"This isn't going to bring him back" I said, soft and calm as I shook my head

"No, but it'll sure as hell make me feel better" He smiled, pure evil shining through

I didn't know what else to say.
I couldn't.
This was the end.

Clu took advantage of that moment, because a second later his boot collided with my side, sending me flying onto my stomach. My ribs shattered inside of me, my blood curling around inside.

I groaned in pain but managed to lift my head to watch Clu take another boot to my ribcage. I could have sworn the bones had fallen into my stomach, a million pieces shattering.

"Your brothers death was quick, at least give me the same courtesy!" I spat, blood beginning to form inside my mouth leaving a salty thick taste in my throat

"Hardly" He growled, booting my side again

My skin crawled, the heat becoming numb around my entire torso. I could taste the blood in my mouth thicken, rising up from my throat as it now trickled onto my tongue. I lay curled in a heap, clutching my sides as I prayed for it to be quick

"Sweet sweet Rosalie" Clu taunted, his voice becoming a blur as my ears rang in high pitch squeals

I didn't speak, just opened my mouth to spit the blood out

Clu bent down in front of me and smirked, proud of his accomplishment. He shook his head and watched me roll onto my back the blood now dripping down the side of my mouth and cheek
