Noah’s pov.

My loud footsteps along with the footsteps of the guards echo down the Therese deserted hallway. I need to come to a clearing in order to put my plan in action.

I run for a couple more minutes until my wish is granted. I come to a stop in a large opening in the hallway where the path splits again.

Turning around, I see the guards have done the same and a guy in a cloak is in front.

He has his hood down and his black hair covers one of his bright green eyes. His resemblance to Soal is shocking. Almost like.... No. It can't be. Just a coincidence.

I take another look at him and I notice a necklace around his neck. There's a Latin word on the pendant. I can't translate it, though. Where's Alex when you need him?

What he does next shocks me the most. He starts to rise into the air.

"Y-you’re like me." I stare at him in awe.

"No I'm not." He says with a straight face.

"Now listen to me before I move. This necklace is controlling my every move. I don't want to hurt you, but if you stay, I will kill you. Now run before I do something drastic."

I stare at him for a second before turning around. I'm about to run but I can't. This kid needs help.

I turn back around and run towards him. Maybe, this will work. Once I am going fast enough I start flying around him in circles, creating a vortex. He falls to the floor clutching his throat.

Once my vortex is strong enough to support itself, I fly into the center and grab the necklace of the kid’s neck. Next, I grab him and pull him out the spinning death tube.

He starts sputtering like a fish out of water as his lungs rapidly take in air. I take the necklace and stuff it in my pocket.

Once he is fully recuperated he looks at me with respect in his eyes.

"You saved me." He states, shock written all over his face.

"Why?"

I sigh.

"Well, you remind me of some one. Someone I love a lot."

"I see. Well thank you." He gets up and turns to the confused guards.

He mutters some words under his breath and a cage encases all of them.

"Well, I'm guessing you need help getting out if here?"

"Actually, I need to get to the research lab."

He smiles a beautiful smile.

"Follow me."

He leads me to a lab full I papers. I guess Soal was in one of the other hallways. Oh well. Might as well look around while I'm here.

"Hey, uh........." Starts the guy whose name I'm not aware of.

"Noah." I finish.

"Ok. I'm Rain by the way."

"Rain..." I stare at him, shock written all over my face.

"W-what?" He asks.

"Nothing, it's just.... You look like, and have the same name as someone I haven't seen in 15 years." I sigh. It can't be him.

"Oh. Okay. That's.... Weird. But you might want to see this." He holds up a file and I take it and open it. What I see next shocks me to silence.

In it are several papers. The first one has a picture of me with some information about me, the second Soal, the third Rain, and the fourth a girl sharing the same features as them named Isis. Behind the papers is a little poem thing titled 'The Triplets of Power'. I am just about to read this when Tate’s voice comes booming through my head.

'I got her.'

I close the file and put it under my arm. I then turn to Rain.

"I need a way to get back to that big circle thing where the paths split. The first one. Can you show me?"

He nods and I follow him out the door, towards my baby sister.

I'm coming for you, Soal.
