Noah's pov

My loud footsteps along with the footsteps of the guards echo down the Therese deserted hallway. I need to come to a clearing in order to put my plan in action.

I run for a couple more minutes until my wish is granted. I come to a stop in a large opening in the hallway where the path splits again.

Turning around, I see the guards have done the same and a guy in a cloak is in front.

He has his hood down and his black hair covers one of his bright green eyes. His resemblance to Soal is shocking. Almost like.... No. It can't be. Just a coincidence.

I take another look at him and I notice a necklace around his neck. There's a Latin word on the pendant. I can't translate it, though. Where's Jinxx when you need him?

What he does next shocks me the most. He starts to raise into the air.

"Y-your like me." I stare at him in awe.

"No I'm not." He says with a straight face.

"Now listen to me before I move. This necklace is controlling my every move. I don't want to hurt you, but if you stay, I will kill you. Now run before I do something drastic."

I stare at him for a second before turning around. I'm about to run but I can't. This kid needs help.

I turn back around and run towards him. Maybe, this will work. Once I am going fast enough I start flying around him in circles, creating a vortex. He falls to the floor clutching his throat.

Once the vortex is strong enough to hold itself, I fly into the center and grab the necklace of the kids neck. Next, I grab him and pull him out the spinning death tube.

He starts sputtering like a fish out of water as his lungs rapidly take in air. I take the necklace and stuff it in my pocket.

Once he is fully recuperated he looks at me with respect in his eyes.

"You saved me." He states, shock written all over his face.

"Why?"

I sigh.

"Well, you remind me of some one. Some one I love a lot."

"I see. Well thank you." He gets up and turns to the confused guards.

He mutters some words under his breath and a cage encases all of them.

"Well, I'm guessing you need help getting out if here?"

"Actually, I need to get to the research lab."

He smiles a beautiful smile.

"Follow me."

He leads me to a lab full I papers. I guess Soal was in one of the other hallways. Oh well. Might as well look around while I'm here.

"Hey, uh........." Starts the guy who's name I'm not aware of.

"Noah." I finish.

"Ok. I'm by the way."

"Rain..." I stare at him, shock written all over my face.

"W-what?" He asks.

"Nothing, it's just.... You look like, and have the same name as some one I haven't seem in 15 years. Though, Rain was his middle name." I sigh. It can't be him.

"Oh. Okay. That's.... Weird. But you might want to see this." He holds up a file and I take it and open it. What I see next shocks me to silence.

In it are several papers. The first one has a picture of me with some information about myself, the second Soal, the third Rain, and the fourth a girl sharing the same features as them named Isis. Behind the papers is a little poem thing titled 'The Triplets of Power'. I am just about to read this when Jake'a voice comes booming through my head.

'I got her.'

I close the file and put it under my arm. I then turn to Rain.

"I need a way to get back to that big circle thing where the paths split. The first one. Can you show me?"

He nods and I follow him out the door, towards my baby sister.

I'm coming for you, Soal.

Noah's pov

"NOAH! PIZZA'S HERE!" Soal's voice travels from the front door.

I go to get the money when I hear a shriek of pure pain.

"SOAL?!?" I run to the sound of her scream and find a blood stain on the floor.

"SOAL WHERE ARE YOU?"

By now all the guys had joined me and Alex was examining the blood stain.

"Let's see what I can do with this."

He mutters some Latin words under his breath and his eyes go white and I hold my breath in anticipation.

Finally, his eyes go back to normal and he sighs.

"Whoever took her is a magician. He blocked all spells tracking his and her DNA."

I stomp in frustration and run out the door. I just keep running, keeping my eye out for a flash of black hair or green eyes.

Suddenly I see something that catches my eye.

"Hey guys look at this." I call out.

"What is it?"

"It's the real pizza guy. Or his body, at least. Looks like his head was bitten off."

Alex and I share a look and he nods in understanding.

Walking over to the body, he uses the same spell and this time, he smiles.

"There's still a little of this guy's blood on the captor's teeth. I can track him."

He mutters some words under his breath and his eyes, once again go white.

"Got 'em. They're traveling east. They're stopped in an alley a couple blocks away." He takes some of the blood into a potion bottle and then throws it up into the air where it disappears.

"Let's go."

Minutes later

"Turn left here."

We turn into a dark alley and sneak around until we see a sight that makes my heart drop.

We against the wall, our dark clothing providing a decent camouflage.

A bleeding Soal is lying on the floor while some sickly pale man is getting bandages out of his bag. There is a tall Haitian guy leaning on the dead end part of the wall.

"Come on man. Let's go. They have Alex. You know full well he'll be able to track you sooner or later."

"Yeah. I know. He's powerful. I'm so proud of him. But I can't let her bleed out."

The Haitian tilts back his head in exasperation. Suddenly, his eyes, bright white in the darkness, dart towards us.

"Daniel. Pick her up now. We have to go. They're here."

"The pale guy, Daniel quickly puts away the bandages and picks up Soal's unconscious body as I charge towards him.

"Hurry up, Nathaniel! Teleport us!"

Nathaniel takes Daniel's hand and they disappear in a cloud of smoke.

"No!" I hit the wall and rest my head against it. I was too late.

"It's alright man. I can track them. Teleporting doesn't mean you fall of the grid."

"Where to now?"

"Death Valley
