Chapter Nine

I finally pulled out of the hug as Lisa's cleared her throat.  'Matt That's my mate"  I laughed moving towards her feeling her wolf on edge 

"Yes,Hello Princess" He bowed to Lisa who only glared in return

"Matt,Meet your new Alpha, Cosmic" Matt raised a brow at this but none the less smiled at me 

"Last time I saw you, you were skin and bones and look at you!" 

"It's been six years Matt. I have changed just a small bit." 

Matt just nodded before turning to Lisa who's face had been set in a permanent frown "Princess,Why was I called in?"

"My mate felt a connection to yours" Matt's eyes widened in realization as he slight whispered to himself 

"Repeat yourself, Matthew" Lisa growled 

"The blood pact, I have a blood pact with Cosmic and since Fawn is marked by me, she must be connected to Cosmic as well."

"Blood Pact?" Lisa's eyes started glowing but her face remained stoic 

"You haven't told her yet?" Matt quickly jumped from his chair mumbling an excuse me before taking off from the room. I growled at the face he left me on my own for this before turning to Lisa with a huge grin on my face 

"Guess the cats are out of the bag now!" Lisa's however didn't find that funny and glared at me "Um okay, When I was twelve I got into a huge fight with this girl because she kept calling me a monster" I froze for a second as the memory passed through my mind " I'm not a monster,okay?" I looked at Lisa's who's face softened slightly as she nodded and gave me a small smile. I took a deep breath before continuing my story "Anyways the girl turned out to be the head angel's daughter. I was taken from home two weeks later, apparently I was arrested. They didn't keep me in prison, They sent me off to a group of rouge vampires" I heard Lisa's suck in a breath  "I won't go into details but I was abused daily.. every way the could..." My mind ran wild to the point where my head ended up in my hands. Lisa moved for me and we both ended up on the floor. She was sitting up while my head was in her lap. My wolf purred as her finger ran through my hair. I know she had many questions but for now she kept them all to herself "I was there for six years before a man was brought in for apparently snooping the boarders to close for their liking. He taught me everything I needed to know about controlling Erebus... I escaped after six months and I made sure to bring the man with me. Before we parted ways He shared his name with me. We knew everything about each other but I didn't learn his name until he left. I promised to find him. I guess I did. " I finally decided to meet Lisa's eyes and were surprised to see the glowing violets eyes watching my every move.

"You'll never have to worry again, My love you are safe with us" I smiled at the tone of Lisa's voice. Both her voice as well as her wolf's sent shivers down my spine. I could tell her wolf was mainly in control 

"I'll do the same for both of you" I knew I wasn't directly speaking to Lisa but I knew she could hear me. She pulled us both up from the floor and spoke

"I have something to show you" I went to follow her out of the room. She took a corner but out of no where, a small blonde jumped and front of me 

"Come on,Alpha" She turned me a round and pushed me towards a room. Once inside I noticed it was a large office "Hello, I'm Jackie Your new beta if you'll accept me" I growled in annoyance at the blonde who just shrugged her shoulders showing she had now fear of me. Although my wolf was intrigued by the girl, she was still angry for her interrupting her time with her mate. 

"You must be crazy" Jackie smirked but nodded

"I prefer the term adventurous"  I chuckled lowly allowing Erebus to come through a little bit

"I could kill you right now and no one would be able to stop me" 

"You could but you wouldn't because I'm a close friend to your mate"  I knew the girl was challenging me but Erebus took her as no threat and only found it funny. She pulled off her leather jacket showing off a whole bunch of tattoos 

"Oh shit, Those are nice. My mother wouldn't ever let me get tattoos" I know I sounded like a kid but my mother threatened  to kill me last time I asked for tattoo so I never asked again. I studied her arms as she walked over to the desk and pulled a bunch of papers from the drawer.

"First part of Alpha duty is paperwork!" I stared at the pile before groaning and turning to the girl once again 

"Fight me first"  Her eyes went wide before she nodded and ran towards me before jumping mid air and shifting. Of course I moved and she missed landing on the nice leather couch in my office. I growled before shifting and running over, grabbing the smaller wolf by the scruff and throwing her out of the room. She was quick to jump up and run from the room and hopefully out the back door. I chased after her golden wolf and of course she had ran outside. I was quick to follow but was tackled right outside the door. I quickly shifted back to my human form and threw the wolf off of me. The two of us circled each other but neither made the first move.  "You've got balls, Blondie!" She gave me a wolfy grin before running at me yet again. I was quick to side step her but she did manage to almost knock me off my feet. She had ran into a small crowd who had formed to watch us. "Sorry"I let me voice flow through the packs mind which had cause a few members to smile before cheering on their alpha. Not one to disappoint I shifted before I ran over and pinned the small wolf.  I bared my teeth at the blonde wolf but not even a second later I was thrown off of her then pinned to the ground. The sparks that hit my body told me it was my mate so I didn't fight to get her off even though I knew I easily could.My eyes were however set on the pair of glaring violet eyes above me 

"You've made my wolf and myself angry" Lisa's calm yet lethal voice floated through my mind as she added pressure to the spot of my neck she was holding down with her paw causing me to groan. 

"The blonde challenged me" Lisa brought her snout close to mine 

"My beta would never want your position" 

"She wanted to be my beta" I growled as she bared her teeth at me before she turned her head to the blonde who had now shifted and was sitting on the ground and smiling. 

"So does this mean I win?"
