"Kuya Mark!" Daniel greeted Mark Salamat over the phone with his voice slightly trembling and his hands sweating.
"Deej? Bakit parang kinakabahan ka?" Mark Salamat nervously asked.
"Wala naman kuya, didiskarte lang sana." Daniel giggled.
"Kay Bunso?" He asked while giggling. "Ah oo nga pala, malapit na Valentine's day. Anong plano?" He added.
"Ayun nga Kuya, magpapatulong sana ako." Daniel said as he fiddled with his fingers.
"Game ako jan!" Mark excitedly replied.
"Saan ba pwede kumuha ng maraming flower petals?" Daniel asked which his Mom, Karla Estrada, heard as she entered his room.
"Anong flower petals? Magpapatayo ka ng garden mo?" Karla joked as she went closer to Daniel.
"Ma, ano ba?" Daniel said with his brows furrowed.
"Sino yan? Si Kathryn?" Karla giggled. "Nako nak, di ka pa naliligo! Amoy araw ka." Karla intentionally made her voice louder as she thought it was Kathryn her son was talking to.
"Karla!!" DJ joked which earned him a punch from his mom.
"Pinaparinig mo kabalahuraan mo sa magiging girlfriend mo?" Karla said as she reached for his phone.
"Yan naman ang gusto ko sayo, Ma." Daniel giggled. "Magiging girlfriend. Hayup!" He added with the sides of his lips extending to his ear.
"Ay Mark!" Karla said as she saw what was on his son's cellphone screen.
"Ay ate Karla yang anak mo nagpapatulong para sa Valentine's day." Mark laughed.
"Kuya!!" Daniel whined as he tried to get his phone from his Mom.
"Malandi talaga yan," Karla joked. "Ano namang pinaplano?" She added as she looked at her son whose ears were red from embarassment.
"Nagtatanong kung saan daw pwedeng kumuha ng flower petals."
"Wow anak ako di mo man lang nabigyan kahit santan lang." Karla rolled her eyes at her son.
"Walang budget noon ma!" Daniel laughed as he hugged his mom.
"Gago," Karla laughed. "Ano gagawin mo sa flower petals?" She asked as she gave the phone to his son.
"Papakain ko kay Kathryn." Daniel said with a poker face.
"Ano nga?" Karla repeated, obviously amused with his son.
"Eh diba gusto niya ng dinner na may kandila daw tapos may mga bulaklak." DJ explained which made his mom grin from ear to ear.
"Manliligaw ng taon." Karla remarked before she left his room.
"Kuya Mark sorry si Mama kasi, ang kulit!" Daniel apologized which Mark replied with a laugh.
"Nakakaaliw talaga si ate Karla."
"Makulit eh, dun ako nagmana." DJ said. "Ayun nga kuya, bukas sana ng gabi. Parang salubong ganun." DJ explained.
