Stranger In My Reflection

This poem depicts about a woman who was blinded by popularity. If you were in her place, would you do the same?

Who's that stranger staring back

covered with every surreal fact

A woman, that seem so strange--

clad with every startling change

My reflection bent to an awkward sight

to see a woman before my height

She used to wear a simple face--

a girl who have her natural grace

But now, she changed into this--

a beautiful her that gave her bliss

Who is this reflection to whom I see

Who was blinded in her own reality

I am finding myself, where is she?

Is this reflection? No, it can't be

I am blinded; Yes, I was

to think that fame will give me lust

I am pretty enough for men and all

but deep inside, it remained despicable

Yes, I was blinded with money

like every people used to be

You, when will you swallow your own pride?
