The Day of My Mother
Today was the day
when my mother was gone
Her life as a loving mother
to her family was done
I remembered the old days
when I was a kid
She was the one who understood
every trouble I did
She's the one who's always there
when I was down
She's the one who can change
into a smile from a frown
She's the one who can listen
in every problem I have
No doubt, she can give
her warmth and her love
She had given me everything
Through all these many years
She was always there beside me
through happiness and tears
And now she was lost
just lying in her bed
sleeping more calmly
but that, she was dead
People were all crying
while dressed in pure white
we tossed red roses
but the tears I can't fight
I know there will be the time
where your mother will also leave
but deep inside our hearts
their love will be keep
