Kane Pyce found himself in a difficult situation between picking whether he wanted to go to Melody's house for the night or staying home and watch the rest of the anime he was watching. Melody was Kane's best friend and one of his only friends that meant something to him; he'd known her his entire life and they were currently at the age of fourteen. Kane picked up his clothes, shoved them into his computer bag and grabbed his knife that he needed to feel safe. It was a sharp knife that was quite large, but not really. Kane had decided he wanted to sleep at Melody's house as he pulled his phone out and called her.

"Melody, I'm coming over to your house for the night; pick me up." Kane said as he walked out his front door. They didn't live far from each other, "Okay, coming now."

Melody said as the phone hung up and Kane waited outside his house. Kane loved walking to Melody's house with her and talking about whatever they wanted as they walked. Kane saw Melody walking up to his house with a big grin on her beautiful face.

"MELODY!" Kane said as he flung himself onto her, giving her a huge hug.

"Hey, Kane," Melody replied as she hugged him back.

"Let's go to your house!" Kane said excitedly and let go of the hug. Melody and Kane walked to her house and talked about anything they had on their mind.

"Kane, there's one thing I want to ask you later. Later. Not now." Melody said as she opened her house door for him.

"Okay," Kane said as he walked upstairs and into her room. Her mother waved hello and he waved hi back as he walked into her room.

"What does she want to ask me?" Kane kept repeating in his head as he sat on her bed.

"So, I have this for you..." Melody said as she revealed a new deck of Pokémon cards from under her bed. Kane was an extremely avid Pokémon card collector and won many tournaments in his life.

"Thank you so much!" Kane said thankfully has he opened it quickly. It had a Rayquaza EX in it, but he decided to open the rest later on.

"So, what about that thing you wanted to ask me about?" Kane said as he looked up at Melody, smiling.

"Uhm, it's nothing... I'll ask you later." Melody said as she blushed and looked down to her knees.

"Okay... Give me a hint as to what it's about? Please?" Kane asked curiously as he looked down at her.

"It's just something. I told you I'd ask you later, okay?" She hissed at Kane as he nodded his head.

"Dinner! Come down, Melody and Kane!" Melody's mother said as she knocked on the door. Melody looked up to her mother and nodded her head.

When they finished eating, Melody and Kane went up to Melody's room and Melody sat on her spare bed and just stared at Kane.

"What? What's wrong? What did I do?" Kane said, almost frustratingly.

"Well... I think I can ask the question now." Melody whispered as she blushed a little.

"Yes?" Kane replied as he sat up a little more straighter than usual.

"Will you date me?" Melody asked as she covered her face.

"I guess I can. Yes," Kane said as he smiled and hugged Melody.

"Yay!" Melody said as her mood was brightened by the answer.

It was now 11pm and Jessica, Melody's sister, stormed into her room.

"What the fuck did you do with my phone, Melody?!" Jess said as she pointed her finger at Melody.

"Nothing, I swear!" Melody said as she cuddled Kane a little more.

"You've got that freak here? Why? He's a loser! He has no friends!" Melody got up and strangled her sister. Jess broke free from the choke and pushed Melody over.

"Fucking bitch," Jessica said as she stormed off back to her own room.

"Are you okay?" Kane said as he helped Melody back up.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Melody replied and smiled at him.

Melody started to laugh like a maniac and Kane held her hand.

"Are you feeling OK-" Kane fell to the ground and looked as if he was having a fit.

"Kane? Are you okay?!" Melody said as she went to jump off the bed and get help, but Kane stopped her.

"Stop, I'm fine..." Kane whispered as he held his hand up, reaching for the bed. Kane had black lines on his lips, with the rest being white. He also had red, demonic-looking eyes and his face went very pale.

"KANE! YOU'RE NOT FINE!" Melody screamed in fear and hugged him tightly.

"No, let me get something..." Kane whispered as he pushed her away and walked down stairs.

Kane's sanity had been broken, and considering Melody's house was haunted by evil spirits, the evil spirits sensed Kane's sanity was about to break and they made the process faster, along with making him look scarier.

Kane returned to the room and held his knife he had in his bag.

"Melody..." Kane whispered in a dark voice.

"There's no escape..." Kane whispered as he tackled her to the ground and ripped her neck with the knife. Kane drunk the blood pouring from her neck. Kane chopped her hand off and ate it slowly.

Kane looked up to find Jess staring. "MUM!" Jess screamed in fear, almost in tears. Kane jumped onto her and held the knife onto her neck.

"Look, darling, you treated me like shit, now I kill you. And remember: there's no escape..." Kane said as he ripped her neck and ate her.

"TWO DEAD BODIES FOUND ALONG WITH WRITING ON THE WALL."

"Police investigators have confirmed that there was a dark murder in the house. The murderer ate the first victim, Melody Trium and the second victim, Jessica Trium. The mother was found to be hung in the basement. There was writing on the wall above the room the two girls were murdered in. It said: "My sanity has snapped. A devil has taken over me. Remember: There's No Escape. - Insane Kane."

There was also a photo of a teenager-looking boy with black stripes on his lips, dark red eyes and a very pale face. The rest of him was normal. He has blonde hair, wears a black jacket that he calls the 'Atfris' and black pants. If you see anyone that fits this description, report them right away.
