Hey there lovely readers. Here's a quick little chapter I wrote tonight when the inspiration struck. Haha read on! And also, go and read Run LIke the WInd! It's getting a complete makeover and I swear I don't even recognize it anymore. In a good way haha I'm doing some major editing and rewriting!

Dedication to @LovesMystery cause I'm obsessed with her story Camera Shy. One Direction is cool but country music is cooler. If you're a country fan go check it out. Seriously she mentions like a dozen amazing songs that I'm totally obsessed with. Love it love it love it. Go read. But wait! Read this first!! Love Lisexx

Oh AND I'm now in the critiquing business. Is that a phrase? Haha so PM or just plain M me if you want me to take a look at your stories. Mention Julianne and I'll put you to the front of my list. Ok I'm done, now for the chapter!

RECAP- Chapter 6

Satisfied that I will be uninterrupted, I wait, and when no one comes looking for me, I press send on my phone hoping Chase will answer quickly. "Hey, Jul. What's wrong babe?" Chase drawls the words out lazily sounding bored.

"Chase." I breathe out in relief leaning against the wall. "We have a bit of a situation on our hands."

Chapter 7

"And now everyone's talking about how I stood up Mason. Scale of ten?" I finish a little out of breath and lean against the wall to wait for his response. One being my safety rope has come untied and the criminal is escaping up the wall and ten being a volcano exploded and Chase is buried somewhere in the rubble with no way to escape. We  took ten crazy experiences from our missions in the past couple years and created a scale to communicate the gravity of the situation. I guess it'd be easier to just rank it 1-10 with normal numbers but this is more real to us.

There's a slight pause before Chase and a familiar voice in the background break into laughter, making me frown in confusion.

"I fail to see what's funny in this situation." I shoot back quickly and the laughter only becomes louder.

"Is she serious? Spies these days." Arianna breaks into laughter again and I can just picture her shaking her head, her eyes rolling back as she mourns my ignorance.

"Babe, that's like a negative two." Chase finally replies and Arianna chuckles in agreement.

"What? It is not! They're all talking about me, how is that not a big deal?" I sputter out a protest which is met with another round of laughter.

"Julianne, it's high school, the place where rumors fly thick as seagulls at the beach." Arianna comments eagerly and I hold back a snort at her attempt to be poetic.

"NIce one." Chase laughs again, a booming sound full of energy. A faint slap echos and then Arianna's groan reaches my ears. Did he- no of course he wouldn't, Arianna would kick his butt.  Another slap echos out and they both cheer. Oh. High fives, right. That was stupid.

"Hey, why are you together anyway?" I ask curiously.

"Just a little training exercise." Arianna answers after a second of silence and I nod in understanding, forgetting for a moment that they can't see me.

"Gotcha." I say looking at my watch. Just a few minutes till the bell rings. Because of Ari's high rank, she doesn't usually have time to just hang out with us unless we're training or she's in between missions. Besides, she also trains a lot of the other teens at SASS. We all know the story of how she rose through the ranks. It's commonly told to newbies in an attempt to make them work harder.

At the age of fouteen, when Arianna was just a freshman, she was approached by two reps from SASS on the way home from her school Redwood High. They asked her if she would join and for some reason, which is always glossed over when they tell the story, she actually agreed. If I had to guess, I'd say that something was very off about her family situation, which is not as uncommon for SASS kids as one would expect. When  I first arrived and saw all these kids, I thought SASS was so evil. How could they kidnap all these poor kids who had families and loved ones? Janet explained to me that SASS only recruits kids who for the most part have nothing to lose. Although, in my case I could have lived with my aunt. She has a kid about my age and we used to play together all the time.
