Waking up isn't just for mornings, its when you realize something. Hanging out with Johnny and Ponyboy had made me realize that you didn't need a family to be happy. You just need people who care.
Ponyboy and I always talked. Matt and Soda would join us on our dates. The great thing about Ponyboy was that he wasn't just my boyfriend, he was my best friend. Together, we met new people. We could always be ourselves around each other.
So every time our kids ask how we met, we tell it together and fall in love all over again. Since the beginning, he never left my side. I love him with all my heart and I wouldn't have it any other way.
