The next day I was in the lobby picking up my mail when I saw Khia. Apparently she didn't see me cause she was talking to the lady at the desk.

I walked up behind her and tapped her on her shoulder.

"Hello lovely."

She turned around facing me smiling.

"Hey... Odell."

"You going somewhere?"

"Umm, actually I was headed to get Penelope some diapers."

"The kid, rightttt. You wanna uhh, stop by later?"

"I don't think today is a good day."

"Why? Still sore from yesterday?"

She laughed. "No. I just have things I need to do today."

I nodded rubbing my chin hairs pulling her to the side.

"Does he know?"

"What? No! Of course not."

"Look, I really like you and-"

"Khia."

We both looked to see who was calling her name and lucky me it was hubby.

"Yes?"

"What did she say about the air?"

"She said she'll send somebody to fix it."

"Odell..good game you played Sunday."

"Thanks." I nodded at him and Khia smiled.

"Babe can I uhh speak to Odell alone.. I'll meet you in the car."

"Yeah sure."

I watched Khia hard as she walked away and her ass swayed. She took the kid's hand and they headed to the parking garage.

"I haven't seen you since the party."

"I'm a busy man."

"So am I." I stuffed my hands in my pocket thinking of something else to say.

"So are you busy tonight?"

"Nah. Why?"

"Khia's cooking dinner maybe you could stop by and eat with us. Were neighbors now. Might as well get to know each other."

"Yeah I can stop by? What time."

"7- 7:30ish."

"Okay cool thanks bro. I want be late."

I sat everything out on the table and we started to pass around the bowls. Thanks to Keenon dinner was gonna be a wreck or maybe it wasn't but I could feel something.

"So how long you been in New York?"

"Since I could live on my own."

"Got any family, or you just-"

"I was drafted to the team.. so I had no choice but to move here."

"That's true."

While they asked questions about each other I just sat and ate quietly and drank my wine and feed Penny.

"What about you Khia?"

"Im sorry what?"

"Do you sleep well at night? Because of the baby and stuff.."

"Oh.. oh yeah. I do."

I don't even know how they got on the topic about sleeping at night.

After awhile Penny started to get agitated because it was her bedtime.

"I got her.. while you clear the table and stuff."

"Mind if I help?"

"Uh sure."

I stood up and Keenon left to go take care of Penelope leaving me and Odell in the kitchen. .

"Dinner was good, I can't wait to eat that everyday."

I rolled my eyes putting the remaining stuff in the trash and then taking it to the sink running the water.

"Did he invite you or did you invite yourself? This ia dangerous Odell and you know it." I whispered so only he could hear me.

"He invited me."

Odell trapped me by the sink looking down on me.

"Move before he comes."

"He not coming."

That's when he started to rub my thighs until he was close to my girl. He quickly put his hands under my dress sticking his fingers in me.

"See your wet, let me take care of that for you."

I bit my lip and pushed him away when I heard Keenon come back down the hall. He chuckled and I kept washing dishes.

"I'll see you later."

"Hey you leaving so soon?"

"Yeah. I got practice tomorrow."

"Damn. I was thinking we could have a drink or two."

"Nah man. I can't tonight, maybe next time."

"Yeah yeah. Have a nice night."

"You too. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." I called back out to him and Keenon closed the door.
