Fact #62: Oxygen; + and -

Have you ever wondered what the world would be like without oxygen?

We would die, right?

Well, what if it was only for five seconds?

Let's have a look:

First off, everyone at the beach would immediately get sunburns. The daytime sky would get darker, All pieces of untreated metal would instantly spot weld to each other.

The earth's crust would crumble.

Everyone's inner ears would explode. Every concrete building would turn to dust. Every living cell would explode in a haze of hydrogen.

The oceans would evaporate, and bleed into space.

But what if it doubled?

Paper airplanes would fly further! :)

We would get better gas mileage!

We would be happier and more alert! :D

Improve our cognition and physical performance!! :D

BUT...

There would be giant spiders, since a spider's size is in proportion to its oxygen supply!

Honestly, I would be able to live with that!
