'That was weird' i thought while on shaky legs I walked to my house which was pretty large I walked in the back door took my boots off in the mudroom and went to the kitchen to start the coffee . It was just my dad and I living here my mom ran off with her lover to France when I was seven making me the woman of the house so I taught myself how to take care of the house for my dads sake, he was kind of a spaz but me and him get along and I love him to death. I was already dressed for school so I sat on the couch and turned on the tv just flipped through channels till I heard a deep voice "good morning sweetie" he yawned then gave me his trademark grin that always makes me smile "mornin dad" I said cheerfully he smiled then shuffled in his bear slippers to the kitchen a minute or two later he returned with his coffee mug "all ready for school?" he asked while cooling his coffee "yup" "your paper" "paper?" I asked with a confused face he didn't reply then it clicked he was talking about the research paper I had to do over our winter break "uh-" he gave his grin and said "on your night stand" I smiled and ran up to my room that was painted light blue and next to my queen size bed on the knight stand was my paper 'wow I put it there so I wouldn't forget point for dad' I grabbed the paper and went downstairs putting the paper in my bookbag when walking to the living room I saw my dad drinking his coffee he had chocolate brown hair and deep blue eyes with a ring around his pupils like mine he was very handsome and must have been a total knockout when he was a teen he's 6'1 and has a lean muscle build from pictures you can tell I look like my mother but I have my dads bow shaped lips "dad will you be able to pick me up?" "well the boss man never said when I'd be able to leave but chances aren't looking to well" he had a small scowl on his face my dad worked as a financial adviser for a thriving company and had a good paycheck but his boss Mr. Graham was demanding and kept dad close since my dad pretty much by himself got the company up and running after years of border lining bankruptcy. "that's ok daddy I don't mind the bus" I gave him a smile he scowl went away which was why I said daddy it has the same effect on him as what his grin has on me. My phones alarm clock went off 'oh wow it's already time for school' I went over gave my dad a peck on the cheek then left to wait outside by the bus stop.

I'm at the bus stop by myself so I just listened to music 'oh my god wow I forgot to tell my dad about the wolf I saw' then images of the electric blue eyes filled my head but I snapped out of it when I heard the bus door open I walked up and looked for anyone I knew then in the back I saw my best friend Sarah she saw me she waved I walked to her and sat down putting my stuff on my lap I took one headphone out ''hey sarah" "hi lily" she smiled I've know Sarah since fifth grade she had shortish brown hair and almost black eyes her skin was even paler than mine and she was 5'5 earlier this year she said she had a crush on me and I haven't really gave her an answer like I think she's attractive and we get along but she's also my best friend I sighed and Sarah looked at me "something wrong lily" the concern in her voice warmed my heart "um no" I forced a smile she raised her brows "I know your lying Lillian" my lips turned up 'i should have known' glanced at her the studied the bus seat in front of me "I was just thinking about stuff...um you know I saw a wolf this morning? I like pissed my pants it was scary" "oh my god" there was concern but less since she knew I changing the subject we were both quiet she put her hand on my knee "you can tell me when your ready" she said softly I had a small smile on my face then I put my hand on hers she looked at our hands and smiled sadly I just thought 'I'm sorry I'm hurting you' the school was in sight now I stretched and got my stuff ready I heard a small chuckle I looked at Sarah she was smiling "something funny lil girl?" I asked she shook her head but said "it's just ...your cute when you stretch" "I hoped that I'd be cute all the time" I teased I was getting up but I heard that very quietly she whispered "you are" I stopped for less then a second the kept on going 'she didn't want me to hear don't comment' me and Sarah walked to the entrance than walked in different directions to get to our lockers "meet you in homeroom" is said i put my book bag in and grabbed my l.a. things i had my research paper in hand while walking into the class ''good morning Ms. White" I said to my teacher who was a pretty lady in her early thirties then I handed her my paper " good morning to you too Lillian and thank you I'm sure you did great on your paper" she said while taking the paper I turned and headed for my desk but I froze at the sight next to my seat 'those eyes' a gorgeous girl I didn't recognize was sitting there and her eyes were shocking blue she was staring into my eyes making my feel pierced like with the wolf then I felt a hand on my forehead I turned slowly Sarah concerned face was inches from me "are you alright you look like you saw a ghost" I gave her my most convincing smile and said " yeah I'm great just some random chill" 'god I hope I sound relaxed' she narrowed her eyes for a second but sighed softly and her hand moved to my cheek I blushed under her intense stare into my eyes then abruptly her hand was gone her eyes looking at the the floor "I'm so sorry" she mumbled I touched her arm "it's ok but I'm going to my seat ok?" " yeah ok" she said while still looking down I wanted to lift her chin but I knew that wouldn't be smart so I walked to my seat trying not to look at the girl I didn't know but out of the corner of my eye I looked at her her black hair was thick and had soft waves I saw she had her cartilage pierced and small gauges she turned to look at me I blushed "hello" her voice was beyond smooth and had a hint of a British accent "....uh oh hi are your new here?" I cringed inside but she answered back "yes I just moved here this is my first day in this school, my name is Katherine Masters pleasure to meet you um....?" she held out her left hand and waited for me to reply I hesitated but shook it, my hand tingled and I think my heart skipped a beat then I saw for a second some unidentifiable emotion showed in Katherine's eyes but i recovered and said "...its Lillian Blood and likewise" I took this moment to study her face which was like I thought was gorgeous her lips were full and pink, long dark eyelashes and shocking eyes but I saw they were dimmer then the electric eyes on the wolf I saw they were gazing into mine I had no idea what she was thinking "class is starting" she said softly "oh sorry ha um your eyes are pretty" I mentally kicked myself her lips turned up then she turned back to the front I saw I was still holding her hand my face grew red and I let go and hurriedly turned to the front she glanced my way 'god I probably look like a tomato' I didn't look at Katherine and tried my best to focus on class which seemed to be taking ages then finally Ms. White finished her lecture "ok guys you can talk or whatever for the last five minutes of class" I saw Sarah walk to us I felt myself smile she smiled back then she turned to Katherine "hello my name is Sarah Evans" she had a smile but I saw it was a little forced "Katherine Masters" she had a blank expression sarah raised her eyebrow then turned to me but before she could say anything a girl whose name I couldn't remember said "like oh my GOD there is a new super HOT guy that transferred here" but before we could reply she went to tell other girls "um ok" I gave Sarah a grin that probably looked like my dads her face reddened but she was smiling "that smile looks just like your dads" she said while sitting on my lap I blushed he deepest shade of red "s-sarah" I stuttered she giggled but whispered in my ear "I have to tell you a secret" she breathed sending electricity down my body I waited and glanced at Katherine and for a second I saw ...fury but then it was gone her face blank she turned her head around "I don't care about some hot guy" she whispered then blew in my ear "ah-" I covered my mouth with my hand to smother my moan under Sarah I shifted my legs tried to relax my hand that was clutching Sarah "sarah why did you do that" I hissed she got up and looked ashamed "I um oh god" she went out the door Ms. White looked at me but I shrugged then I looked at Katherine but she wasn't there
