Lillian's pov

i just got out the bus and thinking about how kays parents were the leaders and how she had so much authority being second in status but then i noticed a white van parked in front of my garage i opened the door that was unlocked and saw a gruff looking man next to my dad they seemed to be nagotiating "dad" he turned to me " oh hey sweetie ill be just a second" i nodded then headed up stairs i took out my cellphone and with clammy hands typed in kays number it ringed twice before i heard her voice "hello?" i didn't say anything 'goddamn nerves this is your girlfriend for gods sake ...woah wait were did the word girlfriend come from ah shit she's still on the phone "um..hey Kay" I said nervously my face red from my earlier thoughts "oh hey love what's up?" "well I was wondering if you could meet me at the tire swing i want to talk to you in person" "sure I'll be there in like ten minutes" "okay bye...I love you" "love you too" I was smiling then went to the bathroom doing a little primping I switched my jacket for a heavier coat heading downstairs I saw dad and the man on the side of the door installing what looked like a alarm system ' I'll ask about that when I get back' "dad I'm going to step out to get some air" "sure honey" he answered distractedly I went out through the back door not forgetting to put on my boots when I reached to tire swing I sat down and waited which I didn't have to do for long because Kay as a wolf padded out of the woods "hey" she said while walking towards me "hi" I got out of the swing she hugged me I hugged back then I kissed her "you nose is freezing Kay" she got out of my embrace and felt her nose then rubbed it I smiled "so what is it that you wanted to talk about?" she asked "well I wanted to tell you I don't need anymore time alone and I..I think I'm ready for you now" "ready for me um do you mean s-" "no no god um I meant ready for all of you ready to really accept that your not human ...that your a werewolf" "oh lily that makes me so happy thank you" she hugged me tightly "um Kay you can wait to turn me right?" she backed up and looked at me then clasped my hands between hers "I can wait for as long as you want thats what I always planned on doing when your ready" inside I felt like some part of me had calmed down now that I had heard her say that "oh but since we're asking questions and stuff ...will you be my girlfriend?" I stared at Kay did she just ask me to be her girlfriend or am I hallucinating her face looked nervous "our maybe not I uh" "oh wait you really asked me that?" she chuckled "yes I really asked you " I smiled then kissed her "I'd love to be your girlfriend Kay" I said in her ear I felt her smiling on my cheek we pulled apart and just looked into each others eyes till my phone rang and by the ringbone I knew it was my father "yea dad?" I asked trying not to sound mad at him for messing up my moment "hey just saying it's going to be dark soon" "um okay I'll be home soon" my brows were furrowed Kay used her thumb to smooth them "something wrong?" I grabbed her hand then kissed it "well my dad acting weird I should probably head home to check on him" she gave me a understanding nod then kissed me I didn't want to break it but my dad really was acting weird so I pulled away "bye" "goodbye" she touched my cheek then we parted once I was near the door it opened and I saw dad he stepped aside to let me in I took off my boots dad had walked to the living room "dad are you okay?" "honestly no" "daddy whats wrong?" "I think I'm losing you like I lost your mother" he said with so much sadness in his voice "what do you mean?" "a beast! I know there's a beast trying to have you trying to take you away from me!" he yelled with his eyes watering i was so scared I'd never seen my dad like this but then I realized what he meant be beast "Katherine" I said out loud by accident my eyes wide "you know what I'm talking about then" he said with crazed eyes that made me take a step back he stood straight and coldly said "I forbid you from seeing that filthy beast" this made me angry "how dare you" I spat out but he took a step forward and slapped me I fell to the floor clutching my cheek he grabbed my hair pulling me up "I'm only protecting you I love you" "who the fuck are you?! My father would never act like this!" his eyes went cold "I'd do anything not to lose you" he said then dropping me to the floor and going upstairs I slumped down even lower and cried
