Chapter 8

We arrived at Schmidt's house "wow this is your home ?" I asked looking around "this house is adorable " Jenko said "I can't believe I never came to your house through all of high school " I said picking up one of Jenko's boxes "my baby's home I heard a woman yell and she pulled Schmidt into a hug ,I couldn't help but smile "hey Schmidt family " Jenko said I smirked "and who is this adorable cherry pie " Mrs. Schmidt asked coming to me "is this your girlfriend Morton ?" I awkwardly stood there "no mom she's his girlfriend " Schmidt said pointing to Jenko "only for the remaining of the bust " I said shifting on my feet uncomfortably ,when she turned away I shoved Schmidt "well guys it seems your all set here so I'm gonna head on out ,goodnight to the both of you and to you too Schmidt's " I said walking out "hey wait " I turned around "yes?" "um thanks for your help moving my things " I nodded "no problem it was my genuine pleasure " I said bowing and turning away ,he grabbed my wrist causing me to glare "I forgot to give you a goodnight kiss " he said lightly kissing my cheek and going back inside ,I felt my cheeks heat up as I turned away and walked to my car ,once I got in I looked in the mirror and touched where he just kissed me "goodnight to you to Jenko" . I made my way up the steps of my apartment and locked the door , I took out the file of my so called 'new identity ' "aha Nicole Harris 18 ,smart ,talented and creative ,seems somewhat right might I add bitchy ,low tempered and utterly sarcastic " I flipped the file over to the stand and just waited to drift to sleep which never came ,I looked at the clock 11:34 I got up and walked to the balcony ,feeling the fresh air "tomorrow you start newly fresh got it Val?" I said to myself I left the balcony door open and fell asleep with all the noise from outside . The sun was shinning through the balcony door ,I got up and closed it and walked over to my closet and walking back into the bathroom . I walked out of the bathroom with some denim skinny jeans and a Bon Jovi t- shirt because come on who doesn't love a little Bon Jovi in their life ,I curled my hair and did my make -up and grabbed the satchel sitting on the chair and walked out ,heading to my dreaded home . I walked up the steps and rang the doorbell "Valentine ?what are you doing here ?" I stared at her "I'm here for my motorcycle you know the one my dear father ahem your husband left me " I said stepping inside and walking to the garage ,I uncovered it "what happened got fired from being a mall cop ,ooh so sad " I turned to face her "I'm going undercover and I'm taking my motorcycle for the time being in the damn bust got it sweet cheeks ,don't worry this will be the last you see of me " "I hope so ,because ever since Emily and you left I've had a grand time " she said walking off . I got on the bike and kicked the pedal up and drove to Schmidt's . I knocked on the door "Cherry pie ,welcome please come in " "are they up yet ?" I asked sitting down at the table "yes they should already be up " she said walking off into the kitchen "Hey Valentine " I turned and blushed "uh yea hey " I said scooting away "what's wrong ?" "um nothing first day jitters is all " "don't worry everything will be fine " "yea sure I've heard that before " I said getting up "ready ?" Schmidt said coming down we all walked outside "all right let's do this "we all said in unison.
