Sophie's POV
I said my final goodbye to the place before Dan and Phil, my new parents, came out of the office followed by the even drunker Joan.
"Ready?" Phil asked.
"As I'll ever be" I replied.
"Goodbye Sophie, I'll miss you" said Tommy as he jogged back up the stairs two at a time. Dan raised an eyebrow but I shrugged. Phil picked up both my suitcases.
"Bye Joan" I said and attempting to dodge her boney fingers.
"Oh goodbye little Sophie, be good for these nice men" she said pulling me close to her wrinkly chest. I wriggled free of the monster in disguise and leapt out of the door. Dan followed me. I jumped in the taxi which was waiting for us and I noticed everyone gathered around the windows on to he second floor waving. I saw The Bratz, Tommy and the boys through the thick layers of grime. I gave them a quick wave before jumping the cab between Dan and Phil.
"So it's quite a long drive from here to home so feel free to listen to music of do whatever" Dan said taking hold of Phil's hand,
"It's okay, I don't have a phone or headphones" I said "I have a laptop though"
"You don't have a phone!" Dan exclaimed.
"Here we go" Phil muttered.
"I had a crappy Motorola when I was six but I guess I lost it" I shrugged.
"We'll anyway, we want to talk to you about how life will be like" Phil said.
"Okay" I said.
"I the interview you mentioned you like YouTube" Phil began "well, I guess you'll know that we're youtubers"
"We'd really really appreciate it if you didn't say anything about us being together or us even being your parents to anybody just yet" Dan said.
"We'd like to announce that we are married first and just allow that to sink in before introducing you" Phil said.
"Sure" i said "i don't really have any friends to be honest"
"Well, where we're going is much nicer than here so maybe you'll make some new friends there" Phil said.
"Yeah i guess so" i looked out of the window to the world outside.
