Ashton:

"So, you're bring your new fella round here shortly?" Your mum asked as she stood at the kitchen island, her hands busy making a green salad.

"Yes, he'll be here in a few minutes." You rolled your eyes at her, all you wanted was to very simply introduce Ashton to your parents but your mum absolutely insisted on having a dinner party and getting to know him over a hearty meal.

Shortly after you had finished setting the table there was a buzz from the doorbell, Ashton was here. You skipped to the door and flung it open, smiling from ear to ear as you welcomed him. He was dressed simply but elegantly in a plain white t shirt, dark grey blazer and his signature black skinny jeans and his face was nervous.

You greeted him with a kiss on the cheek and grabbed his hand to pull him inside. Your mum had taken to standing just out of sight, probably so she could pounce on him as soon as he walked through the door. "Well, hello you." Your mum gushed as she caught sight of him for the first time, rushing out to grab his hand.

"Oh, erm his Mrs Y/L/N." Ashton mumbled out as he awkwardly let your mum shake his hand.

"Oh, darling its Ms. I haven't been married for years." She laughed animatedly at him, practically blushing like a sexually charged teenager.

"Oh, sorry?"

"Sweetie don't be sorry! Look at you, such a nice physique! You must work out a lot, those biceps are... Well they're something else." She giggled, still clutching aggressively into his hand as Ashton's cheeks grew redder and redder.

"Mum!" You pitched in. "Dog needs feeding, why don't you go do that?" You nodded at her insistently.

"Y/N, I'm trying to talk to your dashing young man." She frowned at you but upon seeing your very persistent look she scampered away, dewy eyed and swaying lightly as she walked, a breathy smile plastered on her face.

"Sorry about her." You rolled your eyes at Ashton, taking his hand in yours and twiddling your thumbs together.

"No its okay, she's just a bit... Full on." He laughed nervously.

"Yeah, expect more of that over dinner, I apologise in advance." You smiled sarcastically at and led him by his hand into the kitchen as he let out a small groan of nervousness.

Calum:

"Calum! I've fallen over help me up!" Your mum screeched from the floor as she cackled at herself. You'd taken Calum as your guest to your cousins wedding and your mum had had a teeny bit too much to drink.

"Okay?" Calum reached down to help give her a hand up, she grasped firmly onto his bicep and heaved her weight onto him and causing Calum to struggle a little but pull her up nonetheless.

"Calum you are so strong, so muscular, ooh if I were thirty years younger." She said dreamily as she held on to Calum, pulling his suit jacket down.

"Mum!" You sputtered embarrassedly.

"I'm just saying! He's definitely my type. Maybe it runs in the family." She grinned, taking a graceful swig from her glass of white wine.

"Save it for later mum."

"I wish I could save you for later." She practically purred into Calum's face. You tutted at her loudly but she was too busy staring adoringly into Calum's eyes. "You know, if things don't work out I do love myself a toy boy." She laughed maniacally.
