Chapter 18 "The Ball"

You wait downstairs for a long time as Sebastian gets himself and Ciel dressed.

You: I swear they take longer than a Latina mom. *sighs*

A few more minutes of waiting the grandfather clock strikes 6:00 as Sebastian and Ciel make their way down the stairs. You get up and meet them at the end of the stairs.

You: Finally what took you two so long. Taking a bath together?

Ciel: That's preposterous. As if!

Sebastian: *chuckles* Now now Bocchan, no need to sound agitated.

Ciel: Let's just go. *walks towards the door*

Sebastian: Yes my lord. *opens the the front door*

You and Ciel walk out and towards the carriage as Sebastian closes the door behind him. He then walks to the carriage and opens the door, helping both you and Ciel inside. You sit across from Ciel and you look out the window. Sebastian sits next to you as he closes the door. You blush slightly and try your best to keep your eyes out the window. Ciel noticed this and assumed you were together with Sebastian so he didn't bother questioning Sebastian on his change of seats. The carriage took off and everyone sat there in utter silence. The ride to the ball was about an hour long so after a few minutes you drift off into sleep, resting your head on Sebastian's shoulder. Sebastian puts his around your shoulders and pulls you close to him, having your head now against his chest. You were asleep the whole ride and the same goes for Ciel. Your slumber was disturbed by a light shake on your shoulder and a sweet gentle voice calling your name.

Sebastian: *shaking you lightly* (y/n)?... (y/n)?... We have arrived... Ahem!..

You wake up fast and pull away from his chest.

You: Huh... What... Pancakes! Wait...

Sebastian: *chuckles* We have arrived. *opens the door and helps you and Ciel out*

You: Thanks.

Sebastian: My pleasure. *closes the door* Shall we go inside young master?

Ciel: Might as well. *sighs*

You head inside and everyone's head turns to see you. The men looked at you savagely and the women looked at you with great envy. Silence spread all over the room which didn't last long since it sooned turned into murmured whispers. You felt a bit uneasy, you didn't like having attention or social gatherings, hell you didn't even like people that much. You decided to break the silence.

You: What? Haven't anyone told you people its rude to stare?

Everyone in the room were a bit in shock and returned back to socializing. Music started playing once again and most eyes were off of you.
