I hummed along to the song that was blaring out of the prison radio. I shook my head slowly regretting everything that I had done in the past. I thanked the Lord God that I was getting out today. 4 years inside. I stood up and paced around the cell thinking about everything I done. I didn’t even know if he was alive or dead. All I knew was that when I pulled that trigger, my life was over.
Why did I even do what I did? I know for a fact that if my mum didn’t turn to drugs I wouldn’t be like this. I would be like every other normal girl. But I’m not what you would call a normal girl
