Chapter 1 : Eva(ngeline) Carson

"Ivory can you put the milk in the fridge when you're done?!" I hollered from the couch I idly lay back on whilst reading the new book I picked up from Waterstones yesterday.
"Sure, I'm almost done!"
Moments after, I notice my roommate Ivory's slender figure waltz past the corner of the couch with a bowl of cereal in one hand and the TV remote in the other.Her long pin-straight hair caged her pale fave as she slumped on the other end of the couch and desperately flicked through channels.
In simple words, Ivory was a pretty girl;shy but absolutely stunning.Her face was slender and smooth but was always hidden by her breathtaking hair,it was shiny like silk and and fell below her shoulders not to mention it was a raw black colour ,pure and untouched. Her eyelashes were short but her almond shaped eyes made up for the only beauty standard she supposedly did not meet. Her nose like a button and her lips pouty and pink. I wish I could say that Ivory is my young childhood friend and that we moved in together to live our lives in a societally fulfilling manner,but that is not the case. I met Ivory when I was 15 and she was 14;our close bond developed two years later due to both our awkward tendencies. Three years later we are 20 and 19 years old,both sitting on our emerald green velvet couch with the same fuzzy blue blanket which we shared at our first sleepover on my 18th birthday,whilst I read and she crouches over a bowl of cereal watching Romeo and Juliet 1996.
"Romeo and Juliet, again?" I roll my eyes and pretend to be shocked at her choice of film.
"Uhm" a short yet hearty reply as she continues to stuff her face with cereal.

"Well I'm gonna head to bed I've got work tomorrow"
"Okay sleep well, goodnight"
"Goodnight,don't stay up all night"
"Yeah yeah"
