Ten Years Later...
Celina of Xathania wrote the last word of her tome on a parchment that barely looked up to the task. She knew an acolyte would have to transfer every word that she had written down about the gods and how they saved Midres.
After the war, she put crown of Welkamia back on King Callahan's head and Eleonor of Foxam had ruled at his side. They had no children allowing the Primcess Anne and Prince Kylan still remained his heirs. The King did not seem to want to change that. Eric of Foxam now served as his hand as his father once did. Despite his father's shortcomings, Eric was a better man.
Xathania had been rebuilt from the ground up. Its twelve districts restored like they were never gone. Slavery was abolished and Xathanians returned home to their King Abbel and his consort, Bridget of Opir.
The districts of Xathania as they were before the fall were the district of the Crown, the gods district which was rebuilt by the gods themselves, Scholar district which now housed one of the largest collections of books and scrolls, the Silk district, the Gem district, the Gold district, the Silver district, the Bronze district, the district of Smiths, the healers sanctuary, the district of Merchants and Crop and Livestock.
Celina returned home two months after the crown had been placed on the King Callahan's head and Crowned Abbel King of Xathania, the Pheonix's flame and the savior of Xathania. Just as the Queen Alora had hoped.
Celina neatly arranged her parchment on Lona and left it at her desk with a note for the first acolyte to come across them. She had been appointed as high priestess shortly before Darin of Zolt usurped the throne. Her predecessor had died and Lona had chosen her. A scared eighteen year old to lead to order of Lona. That was before the goddess died right before Celina's eyes.
The matter of the gods had been left until she met Theo. A man that Plotas had ordered to go to her with the new hierarchy of the gods. A man who had become her husband in months that followed.
The Pit was no more and Orcus was now presided over by The Guardian; Plotas.
Each god answered to a spirit. There were six; Drasel, Nix, Helias, Ainara; the godkiller, Wallace; the harbinger of War and Freya; Helias' heir and the goddess of War.
The Order of Drasel are primarily the gods of Fatos: Zuris, King of Fatos, the god of Protection, Wisdom, Wealth & Strength; Sibylla, Queen of Fatos, the goddess of Love, Joy, Healing, Fertility & Marriage; Teria, the goddess of Abundance and Victory; Hero, god of Time and Death; Acai, goddess of the Moon, Sea and Rain; and Veri, god of the Wind and Skies.
The Order of Nix are primarily the gods who roam about the peak or Midres, the home of living mortals or Fatos or Orcus: Daisie, godess of Nature and Earth; Rercius, god of Animals; and Cora, goddess of Fire and the Sun.
The Order of Helias are primarily gods of Orcus: Plotas, the King of Orcus, god of Dreams and Nightmares; Azul, god Sloth and Lust (after Zebel's death); Sersei, the goddess of Pride; Terlia, goddess of Envy; and Dai, goddess of Vanity & Greed (after Molu's death).
The Order of Freya are primarily gods on the peak: Reid, god of Wrath (after Oraphim's death); and Grey, god of Prudence.
The Order of Ainara and Wallace are primarily gods of fatos: Reso, goddess of Beauty and Maidens; Unai, god of Lightning and Thunder; Remos, god of Music and the Arts, and Yenai, goddess of Mischief.
All gods in the Order of Ainara and Wallace were gods of Fatos but after the Spirit Drasel was forced to them up through endless tackling and pranks by the twins.
