Battling through the pain, I shook off the agony, warmth spreading through my limbs. Glaring down, I found Moff Gideon motionless on the crimson soil of Nevarro. Taking care not to deliver a fatal strike, I intended to send a clear message. But suddenly, stormtroopers advanced, weapons trained on me. Where was Mando? Where were my friends? Scanning the surroundings, anxiety bubbled up within me. Beneath their gleaming white armor, I perceived a threat looming large. Closing my eyes, I belted out a thunderous roar, triggering tremors beneath my feet. Chaos reigned supreme, casting shadows over my vision. Once again, I faded into oblivion.

Struggling against debilitating pain, a hand touched my shoulder, and I snapped my eyes open, meeting Mando's tinted T-visor. Surprising myself, I threw myself into his arms, feeling bullets zip past us. All I cared about was the man sheltered within my wings. Never had I imagined finding him, but here we were, sharing an intimate embrace. Could he become more than just a mate? Thoughts raced through my mind as I squeezed him tighter. Deciding to focus on the present, I released another surge of energy, toppling the remaining troops. Safely distanced from danger, I pulled away from Mando, who adjusted his posture. Around us, stormtroopers littered the ground, several helping the injured Moff retreat onto his vessel. Resigned, I allowed them to withdraw, relieved the Moff's threat had subsided. Our intention hadn't included settling here permanently. Thus, our mission shifted to locating the Mandalorian hideaway and returning Gorgu to his tribe. Although temporary security welcomed us, we needed to move onward, continuing our quest for belonging and acceptance.

As Cara asked with concern etched upon her face, "Are you sure you're going to be okay?" we approached our trusty vessel, the mighty Gorgu bounding towards us with uncontainable excitement. I couldn't help but chuckle as he jumped up, nuzzling against my leg, his tiny tongue darting out to lavishly lick my skin.

Bending down, I gently ruffled his furry head, replying, "Yes, we'll be just fine. Don't worry about a thing - if anything goes awry, just give us a call." With that, I scooped up our beloved companion by the scruff of his neck, ascending the ramp leading into the heart of our home away from home. Once inside, I placed Gorgu securely within his cozy cubbyhole, turning back to observe Mando bidding farewell to Karga, Cara, and Kuill. Dipping my head respectfully, I followed suit and settled myself down on the cool metal exterior, preparing for a long-overdue night's rest.

Mando's voice broke through my thoughts, asking softly, "Would you like something?" Shaking my head in response, I assured him, "No, thank you. I'm perfectly content." He nodded solemnly, disappearing up the ladder toward the cockpit. The Razor Crest hummed to life beneath me, rumbling reassuringly as it launched itself gracefully into the vast expanse above. And there, under the watchful gaze of countless stars, I finally succumbed to the embrace of slumber, feeling more at peace than I had been in moons.

A hushed silence greeted me as consciousness seeped back in, yet an underlying sense of tranquility prevailed; deep within, I knew Mando and Gorgu were near, nestled safely within the confines of our steadfast starship. However, I couldn't suppress the faint pang of apprehension when I found myself momentarily alone. My connection to the Force proved indispensable, assuring me that both my companions remained aboard, albeit miles apart in distance. Mando held vigilant watch from the cockpit while Gorgu reveled blissfully in dreamland below deck. Letting out a relieved sigh, I allowed my racing mind to slow its tempo, finding solace once again.

The sensation of landing jolted me awake, pulling me from the brink of reverie. Mando descended the ladder, eyes ablaze with anticipation and determination. "I've got a lead on some Mandalorians," he announced, words punctuated by conviction. Nodding silently in agreement, I stretched lazily, easing tired muscles. Stepping forward, I felt the familiar weight of Grogu settle comfortably against my legs, purring softly in sync with my every movement.
