𝟴𝟯. 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 {𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹}

A lot had happened since Grace had fainted in Derek's arms. She had lied to him and said it was nothing and due to her lack of sleep. Derek wasn't convinced and was keeping an eye on Grace. He knew Grace and he knew when she wasn't well

But he had let it go but he was keeping a close eye on her. Grace knew her health was getting more and more and how she had passed out a few times and she was scared. She was scared to tell anyone just what was going on with her

Grace knew she was a doctor and she should find out but she knew that deep down she was scared of the answers

Derek angrily walks into William's room. He wasn't in the mood. His mother was coming for a visit deciding it was the perfect time to meet Grace and she was freaking out over it all. He knew that there was something going on with Grace more than the fact she had fainted in his arms and she had said she was fine and deep down he knew she wasn't

"Oh, I asked them not to wake you. I said, "whatever it is, it can wait till morning. Dr. Shepherd needs his beauty sleep. " William said

" Your latest head C.T. Shows that the brain contusions are expanding. I'm gonna get you into the O.R. Right away" derek said

" This ... this brain thing, it ... it could kill me? "

" If we don't treat it, yes. " derek said sec William starts laughing.

"You find that funny? "

" I'm sorry. It's just that they're gonna execute me in five days. Five days. Might as well take my chances with this brain thing, right? "

" Mr. Dunn... "

" You gotta admit, it's a nice way to go- plenty of attractive females ... all the jell-o I could want. Have you tried the strawberry? It'll change your life."

" You're refusing surgery? " derek asked

" Either way, I'm going to die, Dr. Shepherd. Might as well do it on your watch."

Belle walked into sitting room and frowned as she looked to Grace. Grace as she was hugging a bottle of vodka and looked to her. Her and Derek's mother was coming to town and it was safe to say Grace was freaked out. The others had come to help prepare for it

"Are you okay?" Bella asked

"10 bucks says she tanks in the first 5 minutes. " Alex said

"I have faith in her. She'll make a good impression. " Sadie said

" She's holding that bottle of vodka like it's a life vest." Alex said

"Grace, don't listen to them. She's gonna love you." George said

"No. Mothers don't love me. Mothers like bright and bubbly and happy and ... Izzie. Mothers love Izzie." Grace said

"They do. Mothers do love Izzie." Izzie said as Bella rolled her eyes at her

"Mine wouldn't"

"Uh, I stashed all the tequila, took the cоndоm out of the cookie jar. I also replaced all your trashy magazines with back issues of the "annals of surgery," okay?" Izzie said
