Paging Dr Shepherd *Derek shepherd*

𝟰. 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗡𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱)

Grace walked into the study and looked to see Meredith and smiled as she sat signing a cheque for Ellis care home. Grace looked to Meredith and smiled

"you know that you can do this, she's your mom too" Meredith said as grace looked to her and sister and rolled her eyes

"yeah well she likes you more" grace said as Meredith sighed

"you can't avoid her forever grace and as your older sister I am ordering you to see her. Look, she did love us once" Meredith said as she handed her a photo from a photo album as grace looked to it and sighed.

Grace looked to her sister and sighed "you know I hate you right"

"I'm your older sister, you love me. Go and see mom" Meredith said as grace looked to her and sighed, grace could hear Izzie and George who were arguing upstairs.

Grace knew that since Ellis was diagnosed with Alzheimer's that grace had struggled with it. She loved her mom but she wasn't the best mother to her and grace didn't know how to deal with it all.

Grace looked as Meredith walked out of the room as bella walked in

"barbie is walking around in her underwear I'd rather go back to my brothers trailer and watch him walk around in his boxers" bella said as grace looked to her and frowned

"does that a lot does he" grace asked as bella looked to her and rolled her eyes

"I thought that would get your attention" bella said as grace looked to her and smiled. Grace knew how she'd had to deal with her mom but right now she had rounds

Grace sat in the locker room as she got to the hospital as she sat listened to bailey as she talked over rounds

"You are the first person they see in the morning. You say please. You say thank you. You apologize for waking them up. You make them feel good about you. Why is that important? Cause then they'll talk to you and tell you what's wrong. Why is that important? Because then you can tell you're attending what they need to know during rounds. And why is that important? Because if you make your resident look bad, she'll torture you until you beg for your mama. Now get out there. I want pre-rounds done be 5:30 am" bailey said as alex walked over to Izzie

"Morning, Dr. Model" he said as grace looked to him and chuckled at the comment. She knew that she still thought alex was a jerk after all that had happened but she knew that she still liked him more than Izzie.

Grace didn't know what it was over Izzie but she annoyed her

"I'd better get good patients today. Yesterday I had two guys with colostomies who needed dressing changes every 15 minutes" Meredith said as grace looked to her and smiled

"I'm gonna be in surgery. Today's my day" cristina said

"On what?" Grace asked

"Like I'd tell you" Christina said

"What do you know" bella asked

"I know that I was here at 4:00 and you didn't get here till 4:30" cristina said

"Tell me" grace said
