Somerhalder, who is a producer and participant in the new environmental documentary Common Ground, spoke to PEOPLE for One Last Thing:

Last time I was injured

I was in the gym, and I sneezed and dropped this 20-lb. dumbbell on my foot. I screamed so loud the woman next to me freaked out.

Common Ground is in select theaters now.
