Marie relaxed and stopped struggling thinking that maybe she was overreacting. "just give me my shoes." she held out her hands not looking at him, starting to feel bad for hitting him so hard.

Jax scrambled around, hurrying to collect her shoes, rushing to hand them over.

She snatched them and started heading towards the house.

"where are you going." Jax started to follow.

Okay, so, the alpha King was laughing like a lunatic, others had their jaws dropping, especially the ones who knew Jax and his infamous temper. Others, like aqua and Jessica's father, wondered what the girl had that had the strongest alphas at her beck and call and just wished she'd drop down and die.

Jude, Paul, Jessica, Elaine and the luna Queen, were suspicious, but the interaction left them all confused.
