Neteyam sat in the pod quietly, reading the extremely small book Norm had brought them before they had left. He could read—unlike most Na'vi.
It was their first day of lessons so Neteyam made sure to wake up at the crack of dawn, ready to learn.

" Tey?" Tuktiery whispered, rubbing her eyes and making her way towards her older brother.

" Yes?" Neteyam smiled, placing the book aside.

" Can you stay with me? Mama says I can only stay for a few classes." Tuktiery frowned in disappointment.

" Oh Tuk... I need to be at those classes, I'm sure Kiri would love to stay." Neteyam whispered and watched her sit beside him.

" Do you think we will ever go home?" Tuktiery asked, looking out the mauris.

" Home? But TukTuk. This is our home." Neteyam said with a bittersweet tone.

" I mean our real home." Tuktiery reminded him and Neteyam looked down.

" Yes. I'm sure you will." Neteyam smiled, pushing some braids behind her ear.

" Really? I'll see Mo'at again? And Spider?" Tuktiery gasped, a sudden excitement filling her eyes.

" Yes yes! Now hush Tuk! It's time to start waking everyone up." Neteyam chuckled, standing up from his spot and going inside the mauris once more.

Ao'nung clicked his tongue and soon enough ilus surround him, chirping and making happy noises to the Sully's delight.
Neteyam held Tuktiery close and examined the happy and friendly creatures, reaching out to one and petting it. He then looked up as Ao'nung began explaining how everything was supposed to happen and Neteyam couldn't help but look fascinated— he truly was. He swayed in the water, kissing Tuktiery's forehead to calm her excitement.

" If you want to live among us, you must ride." Ao'nung stated.

He turned and a ilu tapped his finger. Ao'nung examined the group as though he were buying someone. He bite his lip and his eyes looked to Neteyam.

" Hm. Lo'ak. Why don't you give it a shot hm?" Ao'nung smirked.

" Be careful!" Neteyam warned, biting his lip as well and looking to Tsireya.

" Ao'nung! They will not be riding just yet! We will split up, I will assist Lo'ak, you will to Neteyam, and Rotxo to Kiri and Tuktiery." Tsireya stated.

" Jeez. So bossy." Ao'nung rolled his eyes and started walking towards Neteyam.

" Are you sure he's a boy?" Tuktiery whispered loudly and Ao'nung stopped.

" Hm?" Neteyam looked down at Tuktiery.

" He looks like Tsireya!" Tuktiery pointed to the two and Tsireya couldn't help but smile.

" They are siblings Tuk." Kiri sighed, patting her back and picking her up from Neteyam's arms.

Ao'nung lead Neteyam to the farther corner and he soon called an ilu over. Neteyam watched carefully trying not to look at Ao'nung's wet curls that stuck to his neck and ears—his pearly eyes that seemed so hollow but so compassionate and beautiful.

" You really like to stare don't you?" Ao'nung chuckled, petting the ilu.

" Me-? Oh... Just learning?" Neteyam whispered, slumping a bit.

" Learning what? My body language?" Ao'nung teased a bit and Neteyam flushed from embarrassment.

" Are you flirting with me-?" Neteyam breathed out and Ao'nung looked away quickly.
