"So where are you going on that trip to?" Charles asks as we are walking through the city
"Croatia, Dubrovnik to be exact." I say
"Oh you know what, I think lando has been there. Maybe he'll give you some places to go." He suggests
"I'll talk to him tomorrow before he starts media stuff," I say and he nods
We stop speaking for a moment and get wrapped in a comfortable silence as we walk down the sidewalk.
We pass all sorts of places, shops, restaurants, and even some recreational areas.
"Are you nervous?" I ask him finally breaking the silence
"It would be unreasonable for me to say I'm not, everyone is always nervous before they have to race." He shrugs
"Not what I mean" I add
He nods and takes a second to think
"I don't know, it's been a weird start. Like I know the pace is there I just can't seem to find it. I really hope tomorrow will be good though" he says
"I hope so too, it's not the best start for sure but you have my full confidence that you will make it better." I say throwing an arm around his shoulder and he smiles
"You better hope nobody is around or this definitely won't look good" he whispers
"Who cares how it looks, we know we aren't dating so that's that." I shrug
"Are you hungry" he ask veering off topic and pointing to a little sandwich shop
"I could eat" I smile and he pulls me into the restaurant

"I wish you would've just let me pay." I whine as Charles closes the door to my room
"Oh my goodness, let it go magnolia" he groans back
I walk over to the bed and sit down to take of my shoes " You know I still find it a bit weird you don't call me Maggie" I say and he comes and sits down right next to me on the bed
"Well it's not my nickname, I like using nicknames I make. And I can't use Ms America all the time so until I figure out a new nickname you'll have to keep being magnolia" he explains as I groan
"Magnolia is so bad though" I whine as he laughs
"It's your name for god sake!"
"Whatever dude, I think you need to come up with a new nickname now." I tell him
"Or i could do something a little more fun" he says as more of a question
"What do you have in mind?" I ask
He puts his hands on my cheeks and pulls my face closer to his
Before anything can happen there is a knock on my door
"Take out your phone and go onto Instagram." I say standing up and going to the door
"Why?" He asks
"Just do it really quick" i respond and wait for him to do so and look through the peep hole and see Lando
I open the door and smile
"What's up?" I ask
"Two things: 1, you left your id in my room. And 2. I'm bored right now and I need someone to talk to." He says
