third pov :: baek eunju

Saturday arrived quicker than ever after Eunju's hang out with Insoo, and to say that the girl was anxious would be the biggest understatement yet.

She could feel her heart beat pounding against her chest and her sweaty palms clutch the handle of her tote bag as she, Insoo, Sarang and Yumin (who had recently arrived back in Seoul after her holiday) walked through the entrance of the school.

Looking around, Eunju took in the different kind of stalls that gave out sweets to the winner of their game, or gave out a overly large teddy bear. She also noticed the 'Pie Face' area, where some students were already getting hit in the face with a cream pie.

"Where to first?" Sarang pondered with a sigh.

"How about the fishing stall? I don't mind winning a Goldfish." Yumin chuckled, causing Sarang to nod in agreement, also laughing, before the two girls broke away from Insoo and Eunju.

"You nervous?" Insoo quietly asked as she and Eunju slowly began to walk up to one of the many stalls.

A long breath passed by Eunju's lips as she nodded and looked over at Insoo. "Very... but I don't even know why."

"Well," Insoo began. "The biggest basketball game of the school year is happening later on today, and your ex boyfriend is playing." She explained in one breath. "Perhaps that's why you're nervous?"

Eunju couldn't help but stifle a laugh at the older girl and she shook her head slightly. "Maybe you're right." She shrugged, and without another word, Insoo linked her arm with Eunju's.

For some peculiar reason, as Baek Eunju walked around the outside area of Cheongsan High School, winning teddy bears and delicious treats, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement bubble in her chest. It felt as if something big was about to happen and she wanted nothing more than for it to happen as quick as possible. Baek Eunju felt impatient and she didn't know what for.

The sun was beginning to set, leaving a pink tinge to the once blue sky. It was a beautiful sight, truly, and as Eunju headed towards the gymnasium, she couldn't help but admire it.

The whole day she hadn't seen a single sighting of Park Sunghoon. She'd seen Heeseung, Sunoo, Niki and his other teammates, but not him and that worried her.

Was he hurt?

Had he not shown up today?

Surely if he hadn't, everyone would've known by now, right?
