Chapter 42.

Eira was sleeping peacefully on the bed beside Alex. After spending 2 more hours and talking about random things they came back.

Eira immediately went in deep slumber as she was extremely tired.

Alex's gaze was fixed at her sleeping figure with a soft smile adorning his face. He was busy in admiring her, and as always he was lost in her.

He gently stroked her hairs and she snuggled up on the pillow getting more comfortable.

This made his smile to widen, he traced her eyebrow then her cheek down to her jaw. He was deeply in love with her.

He had a little pity looking at her, he felt awful that she was feeling so deserted all this time.

"I love you Eira, you are not alone now. You have me by your side and I'll be there for you in your highs and lows." He whispered softly.

He gently rest his hand on the side of her waist and went in deep slumber while gazing at her peaceful face. He got a habit of sleeping like this.

It was around 5:05 am and she stirred in her sleep, after few seconds she opened her eyes and a smile crept on her face looking at the handsome hunk laying by her side.

He was peacefully sleeping holding her closer to him. The flashbacks of last night flooded her mind making her smile to widen.

Sometimes the little things matters the most, the assurance from someone, that they will be there for them and listen to them is all we need.

She wipe other's tears but forget about her own, she was strong for others but hiding those inner battles within herself, she used to forgive others easily but she couldn't ignore those tiny mistakes of her, she pray for her loved ones but couldn't pray for herself, She would love beyond the world but that love was never there for her own self.

This is Eira, the most selfless yet the strongest girl anyone could encounter.

But when yesterday Alex gave his shoulder and assured her that he will be there for her made a big difference in her life.

For the first time in her 25 years of life she got someone on whom she can rely upon.

She gently took his hand from her waist and stood up from the bed. She got freshen up and offered her prayers after changing her clothes.

She stood in the balcony looking at the soft rays of sun spreading through out the sky.

She felt a pair of arms snaking around her waist making her smile.

"Assalam ul alaikum lex." She whispered softly.

"Walikum as salaam pretty girl." He mumbled on her neck, his face was in the crook of her neck inhaling her scent.

She kept her hands on top of his gently caressing his fingers, she leaned back on him and closed her eyes in relaxation.

"Lex." She called in a low voice.

"Hmm." He hummed in response kissing the side of her neck.

"Thank you so much for everything, yesterday was the best night of my life thank you."

This made him smile and she felt his smile on her neck.

"Whenever you want we can go there."

"Really?" She asked excitedly making him chuckle.

"Ofcourse love."

"This are the best six months of my entire life." He whispered giving feathery kisses from her earlobe down to her shoulder blade making her shiver and feel butterflies.
