Chapter Thirty Five~ Trauma Dump

Rose sits in her bedroom thoughts coming, one after the other. She knows that she will probably have to tell them where he lives, and that they will most definitely make their move. Guilt is replaced with embarrassment as she thinks about how they now know that she was talking to another guy. She remembers how hurt they all looked and is basically jumping out of her skin wondering what their thoughts are now.

She gets a knock on her door and she bolts over to open it, desperate to talk to anyone of them right now.  Utter shock possesses her face when she realizes who knocked.

Rose: Hunter?

"Hey." he says shamefully. " Can I come in? We don't have to close the door or anything."

Hesitant, but way too curious, she lets him in but remains speechless.

Hunter: I know you have 1000 questions so I'm going to try to answer everything I think you want to ask.

She just nods and allows him to speak.

Hunter: Firstly, I'm sorry. I am so so so very sorry Rose. Last time we saw each other, I completely lost control. I'm hurt, I'm embarrassed and I'm just sorry. I never meant to hurt you, and I don't know if you notice, but you drive everyone crazy. Not in a "your annoying way", but in a "I need you", type of way. And when I tasted you for the first time-

He tries to continue but remembers how she tasted starting to get a familiar urge. He closes his eyes and looks away and pushes it down.

Hunter: Sorry. Anyway, I don't know how I will make it up to you, but I need you to know that I am sorry before I say anything else.
Rose: Um I uh...I understand.
Hunter: Thank you. You don't know how that feels to hear you say that. I know you're wondering where I was, why am I here now and what's happening? Before we met you we had this form of punishment that we all vowed never to use again but when Lorenzo saw found out what I had done, he lost it. His word didn't matter anymore. Nothing does when it comes to you. I'm not gonna say I didn't deserve it though. But I'm also not going to say I'm not still upset. But I was serving that punishment starving for days.

Rose gazes at him in horror .

Hunter: To be honest, if things weren't the way they were right now I probably would still be serving time. But apparently they need all hands on deck. So they came and got me...and I was fed so don't worry. Surprisingly they gave me the task of telling you that they need the information on where he lives. They want to know if there was any motive behind you guys meeting or if it was pure coincidence.
Rose: Motive, seriously?
Hunter: It may sound ridiculous, but anything is possible.Another story is to be told, but they want us all to be together for that.
Rose: So what are they planning on doing after if things aren't the way they would like it .
Hunter: Do you want me to be completely honest ?

I nod.

Hunter: They will probably kill everyone in sight.

My eyes widen and I tell him that I'm ready to go downstairs now and that's what we do. I storm over to Lorenzo, and I slap him straight across the face.

Lorenzo: I deserve that.

I do it again .

Lorenzo: I deserve that too.

And once more .

Lorenzo: OK what was that one for?
Rose: The first two were for being a complete jerk. And the last one was for being a complete jerk to Hunter.
Lorenzo: Suck up.
Rose: How could you do that to him? To your own brother?
Lorenzo: He hurt you Rose.
Rose: So did you. So what if they were to kill you or something for hurting me?
Lorenzo: Then, in final death, I will find a way to thank them.

Scoffing and rolling her eyes, Rose walks away from him and goes to sit on the couch.

Hunter: So, who wants to go first?

Dylan raises his hand and Hunter gestures for him to continue.

Dylan: We're going to kill them all.
Hunter: Okay! Anyone else wants to start?

Leon decides to stand up.

Leon: I don't know if it was obvious or you already knew this but, we weren't always vampires.

A bit of shock flashes across Rose's face, barely enough to see, but just enough to catch.

Leon: Our father was an egotistic maniac, nicely put.
Chase: He wanted to bring strength into the world and used our mother to build his very own Army.
Arez: We had a few sisters, but he saw no benefits from their existence so he killed every baby that didn't come out a boy.
Archer: He trained us day and night, and we couldn't be anything less than the epitome of strength.
Hunter: But he was miserable. Mere human strength was not enough for him. He needed more.
Deyvan: So one night, he made us a special blend that we all had to drink. We we just had no idea that the special blend was vampires blood.
Arez: Then first thing the next morning we had breakfast.
Dylan: What we didn't know was that the son of a bitch had poisoned it.  He waited for it to kick in. And when it did he watched as we all coughed and choked on our own blood. Until...we died.

Shock, horror, and sadness all filled Roseks face, but the words couldn't come out.  The entire time Lorenzo hadn't spoken, but then he does.

Lorenzo: But we woke up because the vampire blood was in our system. And all was left to complete the transition was to feed. I remember feeling this terrible hunger. The pain was unbearable. It didn't only effect my stomach, but my head started to hurt as well. I felt like I was going to die if I didn't eat something. Our father's face was so proud. He knows that it means it must've worked.
Rose: Wait, so he did it and he wasn't even sure if you guys would've woken up.
Hunter : Precisely. But that's not the worst part.

Rose looks at him, confused, waiting for somebody to explain.

Dylan: Oh for God's sake, we fed on our mother.

Rose's stomach drops.

Rose: I- I- w- what do you mean?

Leon: We all woke up from the table hungry and confused. Our father, at the end of the table, grips our mother in his hands and proceeded to stab her in the stomach.  We were horrified but  our instinct soon told us that, that is what will stop this insane, hunger. She dropped to the ground and we all jumped on top of her. And our father's smile was never so wide.
Lorenzo: We killed her. And we didn't understand anything that was happening until after we were done.
Rose: Oh my God!
Deyvan: Long story short, he died, and left thousands of enemies behind him. All looking to seek revenge eventually.
Arez: And that's why we can't just sit down and assume that all of this was a coincidence. We have to make a move to protect you and ourselves.

Rose takes a moment to collect all her thoughts still completely in shock. When she finally find the words she speaks.

Rose: * voice breaking* I am so sorry you guys went through that. I am so sorry I kept pushing for you guys to tell me everything when that probably was so much for you guys to bring back up. And I'm so sorry for entering your lives causing more chaos then you guys need. I made a big mess and I don't know how to fix it, but I will do whatever it takes.
Dylan: Well if you really want to help, you can start by telling us his address. We need to move as soon as possible.

I nod.
