"...."

"...."

" How long do you plan on staying on the line like this? "

" Just a few minutes. " I mumbled, snuggling into my pillow as I felt my eyes burn again.

I wasn't stupid enough to go back after what happened, I'm glad I had a room available at the hotel near the air port.

" Okay. "

I close my eyes, relaxing myself at the sound of his breathing. It must be in the middle of the night there, I know I was bothering him, but right now, he's all I need.

" I'm sorry....for calling so randomly."

" I told you to, so it's okay. "

I sighed, fiddling with the threads on the blanket as I tried not to think,
" Can you...tell me something? Anything...just.. talk? "

" Mhm...how about you just get out of that room and visit the lobby? "

" But I'm in my pajamas. Fresh air won't help me anyway...."

" I insist. "

I sigh, " Okay, I might as well get myself something to eat. Snacks always help, right? "

" Yeah. "

I swiftly pull on a hoodie over my tank top, wearing my slippers and leaving the room. I fixed my hair in the lift, covering my head with the hood.

" How's your classes going? I heard you have a project coming up. "

" Yeah, it's going fine. I'm partnered with three three my classmates. I don't know them yet. "

I chuckled, rubbing my eyes as I exit the lift, the lobby is extremely quiet.

" You should get to know them. If you stay quiet, they'll just dump their work on you....too..."

I trailed off while my feet pause, I blink. " Huh? "

" You were saying? "

A big smile stretched on my lips as I broke into a sprint, throwing my arms around his neck.

" What-how did you get here?! "

I pulled away slightly, was he real?

" I felt like it. " He shrugged softly, staring at my face quite intensely, " I got you snacks. "

I pout, trying not to cry as I nod.

Once we're back in my room, he shuffles around hanging his coat and scarf, which left him in a plain white shirt and jeans, offering me the snacks, " Here. "

" Thanks. "

" Don't start crying now. " He mumbled softly, " I had some business here, so I came. "

I rolled my eyes, sniffling as I slumped on the edge of the bed, " You're not a businessman, yet. "
