**A/N Sorry if this is terrible. I've been super busy at the moment and there's been some sicknesses going around so ya. But for those of you who read the Henry Creel fic, I promise I will write some more for you soon, I just have to be in the right headspace. I have good plans, I promise <3 I was going to write more tonight, but let's just say that this writing chapter got me through a 1-hour loop of NES, 1-hour loop of Overdrive, and a 1-hour loop of Telepath. I'm exhausted after a week of performing, and it's like- 4 am. (Who wanna go grocery shopping with me?)

I got super inspired today when someone super attractive gave me a really long, tight hug and I almost died of simp. The whole time he and I were hugging, I was just thinking of Yours, Overdrive and ofc, Never Ending Song. He reminds me of that song so much ahhhhh

Love y'all and please comment! I want comments guys!!!**

Sobbing with laughter, Conan cranks up the music,

"You sure? It's like- 3 am!" He says, taking a quick left.

"Yeah! I'm super keen to get some snacks!" I yell over Jenny by The Studio Killers.

(*ANNOYING AUTHOR A/N: LOOK AT ME FORESHADOWING WEEEEEEEE!*)

"Ok, just um... let's be quick, okay?" he says, worry making his words come out like pleas.

"Sure, that's fine. Hey, you okay Connie?" I put a hand to his shoulder but he flinches as if my hand is a hot coal, and I quickly withdraw my hand.

"N-nothing!" He stutters, sucking in a breath through his teeth, "I'm just worried about you being tired."

"I'm not tired at all!" I shout, giggling.

"Heh, not surprised," he smirks, "you had like, five cups of coffee?!"

"HEY! Coffee is life, and you know it. Don't you freaking dare deny our one true love of its importance!!" I protest.

"It may be ~your~ one true love, but it certainly isn't mine!" He laughs, raising his eyebrows at me.

"Sure, ~totally~, Mr-Chronically-Single! Rub it in! As if YOU can talk!"

"Hey, don't get me wrong- coffee is ONE of my true loves, but not my only."

"OH, that's right," I smirk, "Ashley and I!!!"

Conan lets out a soft, awkward chuckle.

"Oh is this it?!" I ask as Conan pulls into a small, almost deserted car parking lot.

"Yeah! Come on! Let's go!" He gets out of the car, and I follow him, shutting the door with a loud bang.

He wraps a gentle arm around my shoulders, squeezing a little. My boots click against the rain-soaked pavements until we reach the squeaky, plastic-floored entrance.

"Omg, this is so cool Conan! Hey- woah-" I gasp, as Conan roughly drags me to an aisle of half-empty shelves, "Hey! What the hell was that for???"

"Just- don't worry about it, it's really not that big of a deal," Conan hisses, his eyes polluted with worry and pain.

Taking one of his hands in mine, I brush his long curls out of his face as tears well up in his eyes. This time, he doesn't pull away, and like a child, he becomes... small and vulnerable.

"Oh Conan, you can talk to me," I wrap an arm around his neck, stroking his hair soothingly as a small tear spills out, splashing against his honey skin. I wipe it with the pad of my thumb.

"Well... you see that girl over there, at register 2?" he points to a woman lazily standing at register 2. Her long blonde hair is in loose curls at her shoulders, the roots of her hair dark. One hand is placed on her very large, pregnant stomach. I nod at Conan, "Well, that's... Heather. And I know it's stupid, but sometimes... seeing her brings back parts of high school I'm not proud of."
