'Wicked game to play'

Chapter 20:

(Ella's POV)

4 hours later ...

"Joe let me out!" I shouted banging the door as hard as I could to try and knock it down but instead of breaking through the door, I twisted my wrist and screamed out the pain

"I'll let you out when you accept that it should be you and me together" he said knocking on the door. I held my wrist to try and control the pain but it hurt too much to concentrate on trying to break the door down

"Dylan!" I shouted hoping that he would be able to hear me but this just angered Joe

"Dylan's not here" he said banging on the door before silence overcame the room. I looked around my room remembering the memories I have had in this room, and all those memories have been ruined by this moment.

4 hours earlier ...

"Dylan I've got work tomorrow I cant just go on holiday" I explained trying to drill this into him

"The amount of money you have, what's the point?" he said hugging me from behind the nuzzling in my hair

"Maybe because I have to pay you back" I said which made him back away from me

"no no no that's your money" he said as I turned around leaning on the kitchen counter, both my hands holding the edge

"How many times do I have to tell you? I -" I said before he interrupted me

"-You don't want it, I know but I want you to have, imagine its a late birthday present" he said sitting on top of the counter opposite me looking through the cupboards

"I would have been okay with a belated birthday card" I said walking up towards him adjusting his tie.

"Anyway" I said patting it down

"You've got a big day" I carried on as I turned around and put the milk and the eggs in the fridge.

"Going to someone's funeral isn't what I call a big day" he said taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"How many funeral's have you been too anyway?" I asked as I went over to put my heels on.

"Are you sure you even want to know?" he said putting the wrapper in the bin

"yeah, why wouldn't I?" I asked

"Anymore over one hundred I stopped counting" he said putting his phone in his back pocket. I walked over to him and grabbed my bag which was right next to him

"Do you want a lift there? I'm early" I volunteered. He smiled having an idea in his head. He leaned in smiling and I decided to lean in but before I could kiss him, walk off towards the front door.

"Lets go then if your coming" I said grinning like crazy at his reaction, when I turned around to look at him, he looked disappointed which made me laugh before leaving for the car. He decided to drive instead because he said he wouldn't be there long. On the way we were talking, laughing and going back to how we were. Dylan and Ella.

"I'm sorry but Chuck Norris would win" He said trying to argue his point across

"Bruce lee would totally win" I said arguing mine as we pulled up outside the office.

"Well were just going to have to both agree to disagree" he said as he turned the engine off.

"okay" I said letting go of his hand.

"But Chuck Norris would still win" he whispered quietly picking up my bag from the foot area.

"Who's funeral is it again?" I asked not remembering if he told me or not

"Teddy Divers, you won't know him, he was 98 when he died" he said putting his hand through his hair

"I'm guessing you were friends?" I said

"Kind off, he was a murderer in the late 70's, massive in co-operations and business, and I used to hook up with his daughter" he added which made me slap him on the chest

"Ow!" he said laughing at my reaction

"Too much information" I stated before he leaned into kiss me which I accepted

"She wasn't you, that was the problem" he explained trying to come up with a defence

"I wasn't even alive then" I said shooting down his defence

"I didn't know I wanted you until I met you" he said looking straight ahead in front of the car before turning to face me. I kissed him again before getting out of the car. As I walked around the car, he scrolled down his window and shouted out to me

"do you want me here at three still?" he shouted

"Yeah" I said getting my phone out of my bag. As I walked into the building, a man bumped into me making me trip.

"Hey!" I said as I hit my head. He helped me stand up but I was too busy checking for blood to even notice it was Joe. When I looked up, He put his hand over my mouth and made it look like we were hugging as we left the office.

"Help! Joe let me go!" I tried to shout but the words just came out as muffles.

"Hey!" Eric called out trying to fight off Joe to get him off me but Joe managed to kick him and push him back into a couple, making Joe pull me along running away from the scene. We started to head for the staff car park and we approached a black Mercedes. As much as I tried to struggle and squirm out of his grasp, he was pretty strong and most people would have let there tightness release a little but he just stayed the same.

"You had to make it difficult and play games so I'm going to show you how the game is played" he pushing me into the front seat of the car and locking it whilst he got in the driver seat. Whilst he was walking round the back of the car, I quickly put my phone in my bra so if he looked I could claim I left it at home or dropped it when I fell. When he got in and got his seatbelt on, he turned to me and smiled

"lets go then" he said
