King of Hell

Waiting patiently for Sean to come out of the room that held Kenneth, I was joined by Trubel.

Trubel:"Anything yet?"
Me:"Not yet but shouldn't be much longer."
Trubel:"Coffee?"
Me:"That sounds great."
Trubel:"Come with me, Sean will be fine."

Lightly nodding I began following her down the hallway to the small kitchen, as I poured me a cup of coffee I didn't care that it was hot still and drank the whole cup.

Trubel:"Did you not sleep?"
Me:"No."
Trubel:"Did you find anything?"
Me:"Yes but it would be best if Sean and I showed you and Meisner."
Trubel:"What was it?"
Me:"You'll find out."

Pouring another cup Trubel and I walked around to find Meisner. Seeing he was nowhere in sight we made it back outside the door Sean was in with Kenneth. Leaning up against the wall I took a drink as the door opened for both Sean and Meisner to step out.

Me:"Get anything?"
Sean:"Oh yea. We need to get back to the shop."
Me:"Ready whenever you are."
Sean:"Let's go."

Walking into the spice shop with Trubel, Meisner and Sean. Rosalee came out of the back room to speak but smiled when she saw us.

Rosalee:"Any news?"
Sean:"Is everyone still here?"
Rosalee:"In the basement still."

Little footsteps came from the back room,

Marie:"Mommy and daddy!"
Sean:"Have you been good for aunt Rosalee?"
Rosalee:"She's been an angel."
Marie:"Daddy? Who is he?"
Sean:"He's a friend of mine, this Meisner."
Meisner:"Hello Marie, I've heard so much about you."
Trubel:"She has grown a lot.."

Smiling softly I watched Marie walk over to Sean who picked her up.

Sean:"Let's head down to the basement."

One by one we all walked down the basement stairs to find Hank, Monroe, Nick, Wu and Adalind down here.

Nick:"Anything?"
Sean:"A lot actually."

Sean sat Marie in the empty chair then stood up straight,

Sean:"First why don't you show these two what's in the box."
Nick:"Okay?"

Trubel and Meisner walked over to Nick who removed the lid, the two looked inside then looked directly at Sean,

Meisner:"This is it?"
Sean:"Yes, before you walked in I had found out that the heart belongs to the King of Hell. Asmodeus."
Me:"You mean the actual King of Hell? He's real?"
Sean:"Very real and he's everyone's worst nightmare."
Nick:"Why do they want the heart?"
Me:"It's obvious Nick, they want to bring him back to life.."
Sean:"That's right."
Meisner:"Don't leave out the rest."
Me:"There's more?"

Sean grew quiet while looking everywhere except at me. The way he's acting made me uncomfortable,

Me:"Sean?"

He sighed then looked right at me before speaking,

Sean:"Their plan was to bring him back to life because way before you were even thought of, your fate was already determined.."
Me:"What was determined?"
Sean:"For you to be with your true husband, Asmodeus."
Me:"Wait what?"
Sean:"It's true Sy, your second set of relatives had made a deal with Asmodeus long ago to be rich and healthy but the cost of that was to take the first born granddaughter and that's you Sy. Your the only granddaughter that has been born."
Me:"N-no.."

I took a few steps back shaking my head,

Me:"This can't be true."
Meisner:"It is. My team gathered all the information and what Kenneth said is honestly true."
Me:"But why?"
Sean:"That's how they was going to remove you from the conflict to keep Marie far from us."
Me:"Burn it."
Sean:"What?"
Me:"Burn the heart, without it they can't bring him back."
Sean:"Babe, I wish it was that simple but it's not. We can destroy it all we want but it will just come right back."
Nick:"Tell me something, did our mother know about this?"
