About me: , formerly known as GrimmInker on Wattpad, is a twenty-two year old non-binary ghost dreaming of reviving the Gothic novel. A lifelong lover of sleeping and reading, I can usually be found making another cup of tea, trying desperately to keep my houseplants alive, and embracing the INFP stereotype by dropping everything I touch. My favourite game is Bloodborne; bands include IAMX, Sopor Aeternus, Oingo Boingo, and Third Realm. I love reading weird, tragic, and cosmic horror, and anything that challenges common tropes.

Writing background: In 2020, I started and finished my first novel, The Twenty-Seven Statues of Severin Quilby and published it on Wattpad, where I submitted it to the Wattys on a whim. I have since finished three novels, two novellas, and am halfway through my most recent story, The Ghost of Winn Peterson. In addition to winning a Horror Watty for Severin Quilby in 2020, I have been a part of the Stars and Creators Program, and been honoured to have Severin Quilby in both the Paid program and on YONDER.

Mentor style: I aim to treat your path to the Wattys like a journey - there will be ups and downs, but with a determined partner, you and I will get through anything! I myself am sensitive and thus sympathetic to criticism, so I approach challenges and changes with a positive outlook to get through. I am active on Discord, Instagram, Signal, and Whatsapp, so whatever you need to communicate on, I'm flexible. I am especially fond of writing dialogue and compelling, complex characters, as well as describing scenery and painting strong pictures without too many flowery words.
