Everything changed drastically when Alice called 'stop'. Not wasting anymore time, we all rushed to Bella and crowded around her.
"What is it?" Carlisle asked Alice desperately.
"They were leaving, then they heard us" she says shakily.
Edward grabs Bella's arm and tries to pull her towards Emmett's jeep.
"Let's go."
"It's too late." Carlisle denies.
I move closer to Bella in the back of the group.
"Get your hair down." Edward requests.
She slides the hair tie down and moves her brunette locks to the side, making Rosalie scoff.
"Like that'll help, I can smell her from across the field." She snarls and follows the others.
"Rosalie, lay off her." I shot back, and grab my black adidas scarf from inside the jeep.
"I shouldn't have brought you here, I'm so sorry." Edward tells her regretfully.
"What?" Bella's voice becomes shaky and her heartbeat pace quickens.
"Here," I wrap my scarf around her neck carefully. Hoping my scent would mask her own and throw them off.
"Just stay behind us. Don't worry, you'll be fine." I reassure and send her a soft smile.
Edward sent me a grateful smile, nodding in return.
"Clary." Carlisle called my name out gently.
I sped in front standing in between Jasper and Emmett.
