Pat was at her desk at Thomas Edison High School, grading papers. One of her her students came in. Lindsey was having trouble with her locker combination, and she asked Pat for help. "Pat, can you help me with my locker?" she asked, twiddling her fingers through her brown hair.
"Sure thing!" said Pat, getting up from her desk, and walking out into the hallway. "What's the combination?"
"10, 8, 6," replied Lindsey.
"Okay," said Pat. She moved the dial on the padlock, it opened, and she opened Lindsey's locker. "All set, Lindsey!"
"Thanks!" beamed Lindsey. She got her lunch money out of her locker, closed it, and walked downstairs towards the cafeteria for lunch. Pat followed too, as it was now her lunch break. Hamburger and fries were on the menu.
