Megan Rowe couldn't believe her luck. She was engaged to the love of her life, Michael Levy, and they were about to attend a business party on a yacht owned by Michael's company. It was a big event, and all the top executives were going to be there. Megan had never been on a yacht before, and she was excited to see what it was like. She had heard that the yacht was a luxurious vessel, and Michael had promised her a night to remember.

As they arrived at the yacht, Megan couldn't help but feel a little nervous. She knew that Michael was a successful businessman, and she wanted to make a good impression on his colleagues. She had picked out a stunning gown for the occasion, and she had spent hours getting her hair and makeup done.

As they made their way onto the yacht, Megan felt a sense of awe. The boat was massive, and it was adorned with all sorts of decorations and amenities. There was a grand ballroom, a swimming pool, a gym, and even a cinema. Megan couldn't believe how grand everything looked. She felt like she was in a movie.

Michael took her hand and led her to the main deck, where the party was in full swing. There were dozens of people, all dressed in elegant suits and gowns, mingling and chatting over drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Michael introduced Megan to a few of his colleagues, and they all seemed impressed with her. She felt proud to be there with Michael, representing his company.

As the night went on, Megan felt more relaxed. She enjoyed the music and the atmosphere, and she even danced with Michael a few times. But then, she saw someone she never expected to see.

Her ex-boyfriend, Alex Scott, was standing across the room, talking to one of Michael's colleagues. Megan felt her heart skip a beat as she recognized him. She hadn't seen Alex since they broke up three years ago, and she had never expected to see him again. They had parted on bad terms, and Megan had tried to move on with her life.

But now, here he was, looking just as handsome as ever. He was dressed in a sharp suit, and he had a confident look on his face. Megan couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia. She remembered how much she had loved him, and how much it had hurt when they had broken up.

Michael noticed that Megan was staring at someone across the room, and he followed her gaze. When he saw Alex, he frowned slightly. "Do you know him?" he asked.

Megan hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "He's my ex-boyfriend," she said quietly.

Michael looked surprised. "Really? I didn't know that."

Megan felt a rush of anxiety. She didn't want Michael to think that she still had feelings for Alex, or that she was anything less than committed to him. "It was a long time ago," she said quickly. "We haven't spoken since we broke up."

Michael nodded, but Megan could tell that he was still wary. She felt a little guilty for not telling him about Alex earlier, but she didn't want to cause any trouble. She just wanted to enjoy the party and forget about her past.

As the night went on, Megan tried to avoid looking at Alex. She didn't want to give him any indication that she was still affected by him. But then, she felt a tap on her shoulder.

She turned around to see Alex standing there, looking just as handsome as she remembered. "Megan," he said, his voice low and smooth. "It's good to see you."
