Calista's POV
"We can't complain."

"It's gives us something to do."

"More family time for us."

"Dean's dancing has gotten better by the way."

"I'd rather just walk around with a guitar honestly. Before I forget..."

Oh god!

He's gonna tell me to leave!

I swear it's gonna happen!

"Are you going to the show tonight?"

"Oh yeah. I-I just found out I have VIP yesterday."

"Ah."

"W-why? I-I can stay home. I-I don't want to bother you."

"You're literally harmless."

"I-I am?"

"Yeah. You're not all over us."

"O-oh no no. I-I'm not like that."

Dean picked up one of my hands.

"Your shaking's calming down.

"It is? It's probably since, I'm not chasing you guys away. I'm also not used to ditching school for things like this."

"Ah. Makes sense."

I get bullied too.

I just can't say that.

It won't go well for me....

"We're going to get like lunch or something after this. You and your sister can come."

"W-we can? I-I don't know. I don't want to intrude."

Dean put one is his arms around my shoulder.

"You're good."

"It'd be nice to do something with other people."

Maybe...

I can sit with Dean...

"Boys! Stop goofing around!"

I didn't say anything else and ran back to my sister.

"So, how'd it go?"

"Okay. We got invited to go out to get lunch with them."

"Ooooo! Who asked?"

I laughed awkwardly.

"Carlos kinda did it."

"Did you tell them anything about you?"

I shook my head.

"You know, I can't do that."

We got told to be quiet and we walked over to where Kevin wanted us. I started watching the boys while, I used my fidget toy to keep my hands moving.

They were all joking around with each other. I covered my mouth and would laugh softly for a second. Nicolas was jumping in place.

"How much caffeine have you had?"

"None actually."

Dean was trying to tune his guitar.

He looks so hot when he's focusing.

Oliver started poking him.

"Hey Dean? Hey Dean?"

"What?"

He started whispering something into his ear. Dean's eyes widened and he looked at me. I looked down. He walked over to me and crouched down.

"Are you okay?"

I shrugged.

"Can you look at me?"

I slowly picked my head up.

"What's going on?"

"I-I'm nervous."

"There's something else. I can tell."

I put on a fake smile.

"I'm okay. I'm nervous and really tired. I didn't really sleep enough. I was too excited about today."

He held his hand out.

"Let me see your phone."

"I-I'm not allowed to have it out now though."

"Nobody's watching."

I took my phone out of my bag. I unlocked it and handed it to him. He started looking for something. He pressed on something and started typing.

What's he doing?

I looked and saw numbers.

Is that his number?!

"You seem like...you need someone to talk to."

"I-I'm okay."

"Just in case."

He finished typing then handed my phone back to me.

"Rivera! Get over here!"

"We're friends now. You can talk to me. Gotta go."

He stood up and went back over to everyone. He picked up his guitar and put the strap on. Everyone started staring at Dean.

"What? I'm not putting this thing down. I'm not dancing on fuckin live tv."
