Waking up the next day, Akuma carried the grumbling Izuku through the forest. The sun was barely peeking over the trees, and all class 1A hated it. Well, most of them were. Iida seemed to have no problem.

He held Akuma's hand, smiling as Akuma rolled his eyes. "It's too early."

"Stop complaining." Aizawa stopped inside the clearing, glancing over at each student. "Bakugo, come here."

Bakugo nodded, walking out of the pack as Aizawa threw him a ball.

"Throw it."

Bakugo nodded, spinning around as his palm exploded, sending the ball far away but only a few centimetres longer than the first day at school.

"While your reactions and skills have improved, your raw power hasn't changed since you first came to UA." Aizawa grinned as the students gulped. It was never good when he was smiling.

~~~
Around the camp, the different students completed their tasks. Iida rushed around, running around the forest as Akuma watched him.
"Jigoku," Aizawa snapped, shaking Akuma out of his thoughts. "Are you paying attention?"
"Yep. Totally. I am completely paying attention." Akuma grinned as Aizawa rolled his eyes.
"As I was saying, since your Quirk seems endless, improving your Quirk's power is pointless. Instead, you're going to improve the variety of spells. Your task is to go through the book and use a different spell to accomplish each task." Aizawa threw the heavy, hardback book at Akuma as he gulped.
"Right, easy peasy." Akuma glanced at Izuku as he snickered.
"Yeah, nope." Disappearing in a puff of smoke, Izuku popped to the other side of the forest.
Akuma sighed, leaning against his hand as he opened the book. "Oh, come on!" On the first page were five tasks, over a thousand pages. That meant 5,000 tasks.
~~~

As the day ended, the students gathered around the kitchen, beginning their exercise in cooking.

Akuma easily chopped through the vegetables as Iida stirred the pot. Katsuki laughed as he and Izuku made the curry together.

"You know, it's weird to think you can cook, Bakubro." Kirishima leaned against Katsuki as he shifted away.

"Why? Kacchan is an amazing cook! He used to bake all sorts of sweet goodies." Izuku giggled as Katsuki chuckled, patting Izuku's head.

"I'm not that good."

Izuku shook his head, pouting as he poked Katsuki's nose. "Nope. You are."

"Alright, let's get you ready for dinner." Katsuki picked Izuku up, carrying him to the table. The students chuckled, gathering as they talked and laughed. Izuku tried to speak to Koda but was shut down quickly, much to Todoroki and Katsuki's dislike, as they spent the rest of the night glaring at the kid.

"You all excited for the bravery test?" Kaminari smirked as the class stared at him. "What?"

"What bravery test?" Iida tilted his head as Kaminari grinned.

"I overheard the pussy cats talking about it. Tomorrow, as a reward, they're going to put together a bravery test for us to enjoy!"

"But won't that happen during your remedial study-thing?" Izuku grinned as Kaminari paused, his eyes widening.

"No!"

~~~
Izuku giggled, sitting atop Akuma's shoulders. "You ready for the best scare of your lives!"
"I don't know, are you ready? You're usually the scaredy cat."
"No, I'm not." Izuku stuck out his tongue, lifting his head. "I am very, very brave."
Akuma chuckled, rolling his eyes as Iida walked to Akuma's side. "I'm sure you are." Izuku chuckled, climbing off Akuma's shoulders and holding onto Iida's leg.
Pixiebob waved the trio on, letting them go into the forest. It didn't take long for Izuku to get terrified and hide behind Iida.
"For a part demon who has lived in the underworld, you're not that used to ghosts, are you?" Iida gently picked up Izuku, letting him latch onto Iida's neck.
"It's different. The ghosts I know aren't so mean."
"How did I forget you've met ghosts before?"
Izuku blinked, staring at Iida. "I have no idea."
"Come on, boys, we should keep going before we hold up the next group." Akuma snickered, taking Iida's hand and pulling him along. "It's not that scary-" Akuma froze, screaming, jumping away as he heard a scream from the forest.
Iida bit his lip, snorting. "Yeah, not that scary."
Akuma blushed, tightening his grip on Iida's arm. Izuku frowned, climbing out of Iida's arm and climbing onto his head.
"Izuku? What are you doing?"
Izuku didn't answer as he opened his wings and took off into the sky.
"Izuku!" Akuma and Iida stared in horror as they rushed after the flying child. "Izuku, get back here!" Akuma slid under the branch, thrusting his arm behind him. "Ρίψιμο." Akuma grinned, being flung forward and grabbing Izuku.
Izuku huffed, his wings doubling in size as he continued to fly with Akuma hanging on. Landing on the ledge, Izuku shifted his gaze.
"Izuku, what are you doing?" Akuma fell to his feet, stumbling as Izuku continued walking around the cliff.
"Well, look what we have here?" Stepping out of the shadows, Muscular chuckled to himself. "Isn't this my luck. You're just the person I was looking for." Without wasting a second, Muscular charged forward as Izuku jumped out of the way.
Akuma snapped forward, opening his arms. "Προστατεύω." A protective barrier formed around him and Izuku. "Izuku, get out of here! Φως!" The area around Akuma began to glow, growing brighter with every passing second.
Izuku rushed to the side, ignoring Akuma as he charged at the cliff.
"Izuku! This isn't the time to disobey me!"
Izuku continued to ignore him, kneeling back the rocks as he pressed his fingers against the boy's neck. "Kuchan?"
Akuma glanced to the side, his eyes widening. "Koda..." Akuma frowned, his eyes flickering as he glared at Muscular. "Get him to Mr Aizawa! Now!"
Izuku bit his lip, picking Koda up as he took off to the sky.
"Guess it's just you and me, pretty boy."
"Oh, it'll just be me soon." Akuma's eyes turned red as he lifted himself from the ground.
~~~

Iida cursed as he tried to catch up. Akuma and Izuku had disappeared into the darkness, and he didn't know where to find them. "Izuku! Akuma! Where are you?!" Freezing, Iida spun, looking atop the cliff as a bright light shone. "Akuma!"

As he stepped forward, ready to run to his love, Iida spotted the figure in the shadows.

"Hello, Iida. Sorry, but I can't let you go to him. Σκοτώνω."
