Liza opened her eyes and groaned as she slowly woke up. Spotting a note leaning against the lamp she sat up and yawned wincing when her throat felt like she had swallowed glass. She picked it up then turned on the lamp.

Good morning, Beautiful,

Turn on the TV when you wake, and you can keep an eye on Little One. Doc and North moved you to your bed very early this morning when you started to develop a high fever. Since Kiairi's was breaking Doc didn't want to take the chance of it coming back so since we know it will be hard for you to be away from her, Corey hooked up the indoor security system so you can still see her throughout the day. Text us when you wake and one of us will bring you a soft breakfast and some more medicine.

Yours,

Marc

She frowned and turned on the TV, smiling when she saw all the numerous cameras pop up on her screen. She picked up her phone and opened her messages.

How sick am I?

Good morning Pookie, I'll be right up to check your temperature and throat. How are you feeling?

Like I swallowed glass. How's Kiairi and Kyler?

Kyler is at school and has had no symptoms, Doll. He's doing well on everything at school and excels at work. He should be receiving answers on his scholarships any day now.

Kiairi is in the living room coloring with Luke and Gabe. I'll be in with Doc to show you how to operate the screens, Sweetheart.

She sat the phone down and a couple of minutes later the door opened as Sean and Corey walked in. "Good morning, Pookie," Sean smiled as he came over to her. He put his hand on her forehead and frowned, "Your temperature is high again."

"I don't remember you moving me," she whispered as he ran the thermometer over her forehead.

"That is because you were sleeping when North moved you," he explained as it beeped. "102.2. Do you think you can try and eat something soft so I can give you some more fever reducer?"

"Not hungry," she shook her head then frowned as pain coursed through her.

"Do you think you can try and take a couple of bites of oatmeal, Sweetheart?" Corey asked as he came over to the bed.

"Not too close, Corey," Sean said.

"I know, Doc," Corey smirked.

"I'll try," she whispered, "Kiairi?"

"Here," Corey said picking up the remote. He spent the next couple of minutes showing her how to switch to individual screens and back to multiple screens so she could see where everyone was and what they were doing if she wanted. "We know this will be hard for you but please try and just rest, Sweetheart. We have everything under control and will keep our phones on us at all times so you reach us whenever you want."

"Okay," She whispered. "Tired. Sleep?"

"Of course," Sean smiled. "You can go back to sleep. I'll wake you with your medicine and food once your oatmeal is ready."

"Really?" she asked shocked.

"Yes," Sean and Corey said at the same time.

She looked at them nervously then slowly nodded and scooted so she could lay back down. "Good girl," Corey smiled as he covered her back up. "Just rest, Sweetheart, we got things under control."

"Kitten." She slowly stirred as her hair was pushed out of her face.

"Raven," she mumbled then whimpered in pain.

"Shhh Kitten, be good Kitten sit up." She felt herself being moved and clutched whoever was holding her. She felt her face being pressed into a chest, mmmm car oil and sweat and something else...

"Come on, Babe, you need to open those pretty eyes and take this medicine," Brandon's voice filtered through her foggy mind.

"Bam Bam..." she mumbled as she tried to lay against him again.

He chuckled, "Alright, I'll be your Bam Bam and you're my Pebbles. Now be a good Pebbles and eat your oatmeal so you can take your medicine."

"No," She whimpered tiredly.

"Yes," he smirked.

Raven chuckled, "Be good, Kitten." She opened her eyes and pouted. "Cute, Kitten."

"Nyet," she whispered. "Nyet feel good."

"Da, I know," he chuckled. "Now, eat and take medicine. It make you feel better."

"Sleep will make me feel better," she pouted. "Owie."

"Quiet talking, Babe," Brandon chuckled as he held out a spoonful of oatmeal. "Now take a bite." She pouted but opened her mouth. After she was able to eat half the bowl, she shook her head and he set the bowl to the side. He took the liquid from Raven and held it out for her to take. She frowned but took it then made a disgusting face making both Brandon and Raven laugh. "Sorry, Babe, but as Doc says, if it tastes good then it doesn't work."

"Meanie," she pouted.

"Yes, Trouble?" Gabe said stopping in the doorway. "What do you fucking need?"

"Nasty medicine," she pouted.

He chuckled, "I'll be right fucking back with some of Luke's candy for you." He winked at her then disappeared. A few seconds later she heard Luke burst out laughing.

"Alright, how's the patient?" Sean asked as he came into the room.

"She just finished eating and taking her medicine," Brandon said as Sean took her temperature.

"Good," Sean smiled as he wrote something down. "Try and get some more sleep, Pookie. I'll be back in just a bit to see if your fever is going down. Do you want something to drink?" She nodded as Brandon and Raven smiled.

"I got it," Luke said as he came into the room. He held up a Watermelon flavored Propel water and sat it on the nightstand along with some Hershey's kisses.

"Alright, here's the remote, sweet dreams, Pookie," Sean said as Luke popped a kiss into her mouth then threw away the wrapper. "Let's leave her alone to sleep, it's the best thing for her right now."

They left and she watched Kiairi sitting on the air mattress with Max as Victor restarted Barbie Rapunzel. She quickly fell back asleep.
