"y/n. you seem to break many promises." erusa pointed out while she sat next to y/n who hummed.
"don't you feel guilty?" there was a pause, "they love you, you know?" y/n stiffened and watched erusa who smiled and watched her best friend. "i know you won't admit it but you love them too." y/n gave a glare to erusa who only chuckled and shook her head. "feelings are-" she was interrupted. "they also give you strength you know? like back there just now, you were ready to give up and let yourself slowly die but you couldn't let that happen, when you saw them get hurt you couldn't handle it so you let yourself be the one to get hurt." y/n looked to the side and avoided erusa's gaze.
"just keep that promise y/n. as much as i love seeing you again... it hurts. i want you to keep living y/n." y/n didn't say a thing and continued to stare into space. "say something y/n." y/n let out a shaky breath and finally looked at erusa. "what if i don't wanna continue living anymore though?" erusa frowned at her best friend's words and sighed. "you should have been the one to live erusa. you and i both know it. everyone does."
"y/n, please-"
"erusa if im here does that mean im dead?" she changed the topic rather quickly. erusa let it happen and sighed, "not quite." y/n only frowned at what erusa said and sighed. "please live y/n, if not for yourself then for me? for those who you love -and don't go around saying you can't love! because anyone can y/n! even yourself!" y/n couldn't help the tears that formed and she bit her lip while she sat up and looked down at the misty floor.
erusa sighed and patted y/n's back with a faint smile on her lips. "can you please, please, keep this one promise? stay alive." a tear ran down her face and y/n let out a sob, "i'm sorry erusa. i'm sorry, i'm sorry i didn't keep the promise, i'm sorry... i'm sorry!" erusa only sighed and patted her best friend's back, "it's alright n/n, if you were the one that died and i lived i wouldn't be able to stay the same too. i forgive you!"
"i promise erusa." erusa grinned and hugged y/n. "good, better keep it or else, now get your ass back in that little world~" erusa sang while giggling and y/n couldn't help but laugh. "i love you erusa." erusa grinned and patted y/n's back again, "love you too!"

she felt the pain everywhere, she couldn't breath, she couldn't move and she wanted to just die. but she remembered the promise and she couldn't just break it.
"y/n? y/n!" her name rung in her ears and she didn't like it. a headache appeared and she let out a groan, she felt the need to cough so she did. although she regretted it. blood was everywhere and it was hers. her eyes widened and she started to cry out.
she looked up when she felt hands on her, she saw many people surrounding her and she grew panicked but then sighed in relief to realize who it was. "n/n!" she recognized this voice, she knew who it was but she couldn't pin point who exactly it was. her eyes wandered to the voice and found the boy, his face filled up with tears as she noticed niragi trying to hold him back, knowing your current state.
"makoto?" he cried out and niragi finally let go of him with a sigh but not without warning the boy. "n/n! i thought you died! i told you you to stay alive!" y/n breathed out a sigh and patted his back while wiping her mouth and coughed even more. "i didn't promise now did i? besides i'm alive... barely." y/n joked and everyone scoffed around her. "that's not funny y/n." she knew this voice, it belonged to kuina.
"arisu and usagi are attending the last game right now." ann announced. y/n noticed that everyone looked like they all had just cried a river. "what happened to you guys?" y/n croaked out, her voice weak. "you basically died y/n!" chishiya interrupted, "she did." y/n couldn't help but laugh but immediately stopped as the pain increased.
"are you saying you care about me kuina?" y/n sang while she wiggled her eyebrows, everyone huffed and she frowned. she was about to say something but someone beat her to it, "all of us do y/n! can you see? is it not clear enough? god can i say it?-" everyone watched each other wide eyed and panic rising in their chest, chishiya sighed and so did ann. "we fucking love you y/n! arisu, usagi, me, chishiya, ann!" niragi scoffed in shock. y/n widened her eyes in surprise.
"you guys too huh?" niragi breathed out and they looked at him with widened eyes. "holy shit y/n..." heya laughed and grinned at y/n as she just stared into space not knowing what to do. "oh by the way, i apologized to usagi." she had just given him a thumbs up and took a breath in.
